This mod has not been updated in awhile and does not reflect the newer changes in the mods that it supports. Witherfork has taken over development of this mod (until/if the original creators come back)

I have a few questions to ask: 1、I got a lot of "??????" in the title/name of gigastructure in the option box when selection, but name will present normally in the prompt box by put the mouse on it. Any incompatible issue? 2、I didn't find the vanilla "Sentry Array"(maybe called this name,just used to detect and cancel mist) 3、I got a few selections that didn't present normally, the names and the descriptions of them is the same, such as "xxxxx_xxxx_xx xxx_xx", quite similar to the cheat codes in console. WHAT CAUSE THESE? THAAAANKS

Yeah, I see what they did. PD consolidated the "zro_hive" and "zro_robot" pop jobs into "pdzro_drone."

I can't edit the comment, so in addition down below, I also *just* wiped PD and the patch both and redownloaded both, and I have the same crashing issue. I really can't live without PD, so I'm just up shit creek until something changes.

I was getting main menu crashes until I completely disabled all of PD, I reckon after reading through the comments that it was probably due to this patch. I'm hoping there's an update soon. I know for a fact everything I run is up to date, at this point I've completely uninstalled the game twice and even wiped the doc folder for it for a clean wipe.

Of note, I also resolved the game start crash by copying/overwriting the definition for that building directly in to the GD file.

Hahaha, so about the same as bug hunting in the real world :P

Appreciate the find, I'm on the hunt for other conflicts but there's nothing crashing the game after that one so far.

@[KĘK] DeportKebab Just binary search through all the mods to find the one that's making it crash, then all the folders of that mod, then all the files of that folder, then all the lines of that file, then give up when you can't figure out what's wrong with the code (building_pdzro_harvester), then ask for help, then get inspired to look for any mods that calls the code. Easy.

The cause of the crash (at least one of them) is building_pdzro_harvester using non existent pop jobs. PD unique worlds probably updated and renamed some of the jobs.

To fix the crash just rename building_pdzro_harvester to something else in
workshop\content\281990\2273835333\common\buildings\pd_buildings.txt

PD just got yet another update that completely overhauls Rogue Worlds (including moving them to the exotic worlds sub mod) and adding a new Cryoflora World.

I've tried unsub/resub the PD/GE/Guilli's set, moving it around the launch order, it still crashes the game before it gets to the main menu.

@SlagNasty seems to have a point about the updates. I was getting crashes whenever this was enabled, but based on their comment went through and unsubscribed/resubscribed to all of PD, GE and Giulli's and now it works fine.

Anyone knows the commands to switch a star to a O class? also the command to spawn the blokk ships would be great, I have checked the documents for the mod and the commands are not there

This causes crashes when used with few mods. however if used in a massive playset does not cause crashes. most likely due to something overwriting part of its code

@SlagNasty I’m not getting crashes personally but PD did change a LOT of its code with its bug fixing, and that’s before getting into the new content. Thankfully, most of Giga’s changes were to backend stuff and Blokkats which this mod doesn’t touch (much). I don’t envy tai_mao2, he’s gonna have his work cut out for him when he comes back.

If you are getting crashes it could be that one or more of your mods has not updated properly. I ran into this with Planetary Diversity Habitats.

I noticed that there’s a conflict for building_production_center between PD and GE, too. Probably others, but in my limited time I could spend in irony today, that’s one that stuck out to me.

Also, looks like they changed building_pdzro_harvester, too.

Planetary Diversity just got a giant new update across most of its submods. One of the main features appears to be new Necro Worlds.

@Zhevvy You can easily use console commands to spawn the correct building, `effect add_building = building_capital_major`, or whatever the appropriate building for your planet would be

@Diablo7 Did you happen to find a fix or workaround to that bug? Just had it happen to me too now and I don't remember that being a problem before! Everything else seems to work fine as far as I can tell though, just that kind of big deal with the habitat admin not turning into a planetary admin when the terraforming completes

Question, why does building ocean terraforming modules require World Shaper? Terraforming to an ocean world isn't treated specially by the game, and you can terraform a normal planet to an ocean planet as soon as you get Terrestrial Sculpting. Related, frozen worlds only seem to have the option for Temperate modules (unless you have World Shaper). Since the Substellar Compressor naturally turns frozen worlds into ocean worlds (resumed to be mostly water and water ice), it makes more sense to me that Ocean terraforming modules are the *only* modules available on frozen worlds without World Shaper, instead of Temperate.

Hi! I think I have a bug to report. A habitat of PD mod was built in the Moon. After the technology for terraforming barren worlds into lifeless worlds, a planetary decision to build the equipment necessary was unlocked. So far it all worked correctly, the problem arose when the terraforming process ended and the administrative building of a habitat did not convert into a planetary one so there are no politician works and is not possible to replace the habitat administration with a planetary one.

Hello! Just wanted to report, I was getting a crash-to-desktop (which I've never encountered before!) on galaxy build, and narrowed it down to this mod. I decided to re-read the mod description and realized I had some things out of order! After matching it exactly with the order you suggest, it seems to be working great! :steamhappy: I'm excited to try it out. Thank you for working on cool projects like these and keeping them updated, I know it's not a small task.

No that didn't help either, I'll just throw some mods out now and put new ones in. The Merger of Rules still take with pure and start again a new game. The error log says in the last line:

@Cytron Giga Diversity touches things related to the specific mods supported. I might be that other mods are effected if they change the same things that my mod does. Have you changed load order to see if it effects anything?

Is it possible that Giga Diversity is not compatible with NSC2 or Forerunner? It crashes every time in mid-game due to some event or occurrence. Reloading does nothing, it crashes every time again :(

@Tai_Mao2: My bugs are related to two brackets problems (one extra and one missed) reported by Muggel (please see comments immediately before mine). Once you fix them, my bugs will disappear as well. I fixed them manually in my local copy and it solved my problems.

yeah i can build dynamic terraformers but they dont work changed load order didnt fix anything problem in the patch he'll fix it eventually though

@Atlantispy having the same problem as well going to try chaning the load order up a bit

i tested it without the patch activated i can confirm it worked without it
