They don't always spawn every game. The best way to get to see them is have as many FE's as possible.

I think I've sorted out the fallen empire issues but be on the lookout for the primitives. I'll fix them up for sure once I get enough time for a game. Or if anybody here lets me know if they find a bug!

I just checked the two games I have running, they seem to have civics. There's been a lot of odd stuff though lately with this mod. It's due for a good look over.

not sure its a bug per-se or if something i had was off. but right after launch i played a psuedo-vanilla game, only had some music and advisor voices on, plus the main elves mod since you had it done so quick, and an elf empire spawned in on its own without this mod activated. it was an underling part of a hegemony though. no idea if that means anything or not, but i thought i should say something just in case.

This mod makes them capable of spawning but it's not guaranteed.

In theory they should work like all other Pre-FTLs now. Though I've yet to run into one yet. Going to bump pre-ftl's for the next game to make sure they are working.

From what I can tell all that has to be done is changing the fallen_empire files so they spawn with the special elf traits. Oh and the main mod scripted effects folder's drow_fallen_scripted_effects doesn't have the slaves for the Drow FE spawn with the elf traits either. And this mod's drow_fallen_1_initiallizer need to be changed to spawn an equal amount of slave pops to the FE's Drow pops on the capital.

Yes, they should. Been getting some odd reports all over the place related to species as well. Going to do a very thorough test on this shortly.

I think there's conflict between this mod and bigger galaxy mod. This was working properly until I used that bigger galaxy mod which expand the map to 20k star systems. And vanilla FE still doing fine, but EOS FE spawned with no fleet. Any hint how to fix this? I do know a little modding

are the "savage" primitive elves not a thing anymore? or is one of my mods just getting in the way? i haven't seen them for a couple of playthroughs and they were the favorite chattal of my drow empires.

What's more likely is that with this you're not seeing other content because vanilla Stellaris already has a lot of fallen empire related stuff. Throw this in and there are 2 fallens added. So it may be a long time before you see stuff from other mods.
You can remove the stuff in the fallen_empires folder to stop the elf fallens from warping in. The rest just activated spawns of standard empires and wouldn't conflict with anything.

Hi! Can this mod conflict with other mods that add empires/enclaves or other stuff to spawn at galaxy generation? After installing this mod, I have not seen content from a couple of other mods lately.

Yes, I have a patch for the Planetary Diversity mod family. Other than that, this mod and the base mod are the only EoS mods I have.

Unfortunately it's still not working for me. At least, the Fallen Empires are still nameless. I found a couple of primitive elven civs that were fine.

I've just done several extensive test games. Not having the name issue crop up at all. FE's all have names as well as primitives.
Could be a launcher issue not updating this properly. Otherwise I'm at a loss. Every new game has names showing up as expected.

As you can see here, FE's all proper and named:

It hasn't yet but we're likely to have an update soonish. It will be in the next one for sure. (Mainly holding off since it's going to bork a lot of the main mod's empires. AGAIN. :steamfacepalm:

Yeah, I was wondering about that and hadn't had a chance to do a thorough test. It seems in very rare cases (like fallens and possibly the primitives) the namelists need to be named very specifically. A recent update changed all the namelists to something human readable but it may screw up other things. We'll get an update out soonish that reverts things.

I apologize if this is a simple fix that I haven't been able to find. Both of the fallen empires added by this mod don't have a species name; it's just blank where the name would be. Other than that, everything works fine. Using the Irony mod manager, a conflict appeared with the namelist chosen for each empire. The elf empire's namelist is "eos_namelist_elf_altmer", and the drow empire's namelist is "eos_namelist_drow_ilythiiri". Obviously, I checked the base mod and these namelists are accurate. However, Irony wants to change the namelist for the elf empire to "ELVEN1", likewise for the drow empire ("DROW1").

I tried changing the names to those and it didn't change anything. Either way, I'm stuck. Do you know of any mods that might be conflicting with this?

Well, there are two options:

- You can open your Steam folder, then navigate to steamapps/workshop/content/281990/2274459608/prescripted_countries and edit the files there directly (changing "spawn_enabled=yes" to "spawn_enabled=always" where needed like Nessa said). This is the most straightforward option, but whenever we update this mod, your changes will get overwritten.

- You can make a local submod and load it after EoS and EoS - Spawns Enabled. This requires a small research on how to create basic mods. Then you can copy the whole prescripted_countries from the directory above and edit the files inside as you see fit. You'll have to maintain your new submod though - whenever we update prescripted empires you'll have to compare the changes and patch your submod as well. It's not that difficult... if you don't have a lot of submods to maintain :)

For the prescripteds there are two way. You can, in game, make duplicates of our existing empires and set them to always spawn. But that's kind of inelegant. :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

OOOR... you can edit the prescripted empires files (found here: eos_spawns_enabled\prescripted_countries\) and change "spawn_enabled=yes" to "spawn_enabled=always".

Careful though. Having the Drow Tulshar in every. Single. Galaxy. Might be overdoing it! :lunar2019laughingpig:

For things like primitives, you can increase the number of primitives in your galaxy.

For the fallens, it's luck of the draw. Max (vanilla) fallen empires will usually end up in one or both elven fallens showing up at galaxy creation.

Hi there, is there any way to help with getting the Elves to spawn in your game? I've been trying to get them, but not sure how to make it a better chance rather then just pure RNG.

Well, I recently just cut my mod list down to size and am rebuilding my Irony patch from scratch. I'll try again with this mod active and see if I can narrow down the culprit. I got rid of Planetary Diversity in favor of Real Space New Frontiers, since that's supposed to be a lot more compatible with other mods. I'll see what happens and get back to you.

I test the main mod with this one active. No crashing. It could be one of your mods is interfering with galaxy creation. Though Real Space usually just ended up with screwed up systems. But that was many versions ago. I don't know about Wild Space.

I used to have crashing with this mod, myself. They USED to work just fine, but then, suddenly... crash. I suspect it's actually a mod conflict of some kind. My money's on either Real Space or Wild Space.

I have been doing a series of tests. The Drow fallens are showing up just fine at galaxy creation. No crashing. Perhaps you have something old in your mod folder or are using the old no spawns mod still.
