2021 update ready, pending one last verification from one of the Klei devs to push it out.

Plans for updating this for 2021 are here, but the formatting done this year is different to associate the Klei ID to image submission; they've been hashed. Pending information from one of the Klei devs.

Clients know each other connect person's Klei ID, and this mod uses a lookup table that I put together using the official post there after parsing it. Nothing here is needed by the server and the client has all the knowledge required to make the distinction.

Very easily, but I wouldn't do that.

Server-enforced mods should be restricted to clients actually needing them to run and not client-side aestheticals.
If, say, this badge gave an in-game benefit by letting the user craft pumpkin lanterns for free then it would be a server-enforced requirement. As it stands this mod does none of that.

Anyone who submitted a public-facing work to Klei that is showcased in that thread there will show up as having a badge in-game on the scoreboard when using this mod.

Aye, I'm not affiliated with Klei so these are just the ones that were posted by Klei for anyone to look at.

Aw, it sucks that badge is only appliable for accounts who set thier submission public.

Klei put the Klei ID in the title of all of the images, so all this mod is doing is checking a user's Klei ID to the ones stored in the local data table. Just a lookup.

If I may ask, how does the mod know who is who?
