mod works for me, but I think there might be a bug where enemies don't turn into builders.

It seems that this mod is not compatible with "Yet (not) Another Maps Pack" as it prevents to load the database. I tried to only enable those two mods (even disabled scenarios/leader packs etc...), and disabling SSVP definitely allows Y(n)AMP to work as intended.
Is there any way to fix this ?

Is this mod no longer supported? My vampires have an XP bar but they don't gain any XP from anything.

If you're having problems with this mod, go to this mod's .modinfo file and change the load order to a larger number like "999999"

marius8990 try your load order. I have found that loading UI, then AI, then other MODs the best way to avoid conflicts. Start a game using just the UI mods first. Play one turn, then close it. Add in your AI mods and restart the "test game". I then do MODs at a time, generally starting with one type [like any that affect units, or improvements, or Civilizations] doing no more than 3 at a time so I know that if I have a problem it is going to be one of those. That way you can eliminate the one causing the error.

Trying to start a game with this mod currently leads to an error message. I'm not 100% certain but I think this started with the new Leader Pass expansion this week.

Re-active or re-download all the mod u have,use "start a game" to check out if ur other mod is working properly,then active this mod for the last.Don't use "start a game",use "create a game" then it will work.

Sadly this has been an ongoing issue. The discover chance is set to 100%, but there does seem to be a bug that prevents it from triggering some times. It does still increase the odds over base game from what I've seen from play testing. I've had games without the mod where some societies never trigger at all, and haven't had that with the mod on. Apologies

Playing with Barbarian Clans Mode, and the Discovery Chance isn't 100%. Just cleared 2 camps, and before that, raided them both twice. Still not discovered.

It is most likely another mod not playing well with it. I run a LOT of mods and do not have a problem. make sure you load UI then AI, then gameplay mods in that order. If you are running another promotion mod, try loading this one before or after. I use Ashtrad's promotion mods and load those before this one.

So the other day my game crashed and i assumed i had put up one to many mods trying to find out what was causing the crash, I think its this one. igot it down to 10 disabled this mod and the game went back to loading. Could be wrong. Shame i really wanted to try this one.

i dont believe you can turn off a promotion after selecting it, but the way the tree is set up you can just skip that promotion and never choose it

Any way to turn off the get a builder promotion? I am getting spammed with builder from almost every kill. I haven't had to buy/make a builder in like 400 turns (yes I play LONG games)

timberjack is correct, it follows the same system as eagle warriors. it only converts units from other civilizations

@澳门彭于晏 Did you use the vampire on a barbarian? It's possible that unit capture for the vampire follows the same logic as with Eagle Warriors. In which case, barbarians will not be converted into builders.

Hunaphu and Xbalanque have the unique ability to convert even barbarian units to fight for them when they're defeated, an ability no other military unit seems to possess.

when I first installed it and tried all was fine
then I did some mod reload thing
and this one here turned out prevent game starts (mod conflict) when loaded last...

Remember to load all AI mods first, then the UI mods, followed by game play, then basically any other mods. This is the load method I use and have had the least trouble with.

It doesn't work. I am confused that the enemy cannot be converted to a builder after I use level one vampire defeat them. I only add a few wonders mod. Is the mod's problem or mine?

Nice mod.

But regarding the promotion tree, it feels like you always go for the left side promotion as they are more powerful compared to the right side.

Batswarm (+1 movement for vampire) is good, Emissary and Mistcloud makes sense as Vampire powers, but it's more like for scouting and feels very useless in game.

Still waiting for some mod to change "secret societies" into realistic ones. No vampires and magicians, but deep-state agents or lobby groups.

just did a test with this as the only (non-official) mod active, and secret societies as the only mode selected. got it to work with no error. so not sure what would cause the error, possibly a conflict with another mod or another mode. or maybe just once again the civ 6 updates messing with it.

hello all, sorry for such a delayed response. i havent been playing civ 6 for awhile now and havent had the energy to try and fix the mod after it got broken by the update, especially with no way of knowing when it might become broken again. anyone willing to fix it has my full permission to use my mod as their own. i dont even require credit or anything. though if you wouldnt mind commenting here if you do so, that way people can be directed to the new version. i just wish for anyone that enjoyed this to have the opportunity to continue to enjoy it again. thanks all for the support and kind comments.
