This is a major update! The logic behind how the system spawn was changed: now the game will generate one with a 35% chance every half a year or so. No need to rush with the exploration, and should be a tad lighter on the performance too. Some new systems were added, including the enclaves from Overlord. The spawn odds got a review, now things like free relic worlds have less chance to spawn early on, and things like star mining platform are more likely to be the first to appear. Also, free planets with high habitability were nerfed a bit in size.

It's rolled against 200, so changing 55 to 100 would mean that roughly one out of three times you enter a new system the event will fire. To make it work all the time you can just crank it up to something absurdly high like 9000.

Hey!! 55 = poie.0 #Random, if I want things to spawn whenever I go to a system to reduce RNG, do I modify 55 to 100? Or what? Love the mod by the way, thank you for making it!!

Unfortunately, I can't do anything with the lag; Vanilla freezes for a second when the game spawns a new system too.
Can you tell more about the other bug? In which systems did you see the incorrect names?

probably my only complaints with this mod: the freeze on system spawning, and the rare case of what appears to be broken planet names ( NAME_{intended name with no spacing})

The mod has been updated, but there's a big "But"...

NEW POI GENERATION 3.1.1 BETA
- The console functionality is out of stock for now - sadly, you'll have to solely rely on RNG;
- Everything else seems to be in order - but since I didn't test it as extensively as I should've had, I can't guarantee 100% correct functionality (but again - it seems like everything is dandy);
- No new POIs were added - they will spawn as intended by the developers - there are a bunch of new systems in the game files, but I'll have to figure out what those are about before adding them to the list;

Can confirm this does definitely spawn lots of things nearby you. However the frequency...I got the stellarite, scavenger bot, voidborn, and crystal fortress before hitting 30 systems on a 2k map. Not to mention sanctuary, 3 gaia worlds, etc. Something may need to be done about the frequency these pop up.

I'm not very familiar with paradox modding script but it looks like your mod has the probability to not trigger any special system set to 1 against the much larger rolls for every possibly special event.

I think the dice roll needs to be toned down a bit. My starting local area feels a bit too jam-packed.

Works nicely, one minor annoyance. It often causes crossing of hyperlanes. Is there any way to prevent this?

i personally use tons of mods that require dlc while not owning the dlc and it works fine, but some stuff does not work as intended.
stuff like the L-cluster and whatnot still appear, and titans, but it doesn't always work properly.
