Thanks, I'm hoping to make an update to this mod that also adds special sounds for most of the Vanilla Expanded series weapons. Might take a while though.

@Arekan saw u updated your other mod, really hope every of your mods get an update too! No pressure, its just because I love your implementation!

@CrackaJack in fact yes you are right, the one i was using were modded weapons ...

@Babok3k3 you didnt actually test the sounds, did you? they ARE muffled a.f. in 1.4

Im using it 1.4 no problem right now beside red warning in mods load.

@Difi Considering the author hasn't updated since 1.2, I guess this is pretty much a dead mod now.

Rimworld changed the way modded sounds are handled, so these mods don't work unless patched.

when i activate this version ALL gun sounds sound like they are coming from far away. almost inaudibly quiet even when i zoom in very close.
I have the same problem when I try other sound mods for the guns.

This works for 1.3. The patch only effects vanilla weapons and so far there isn't any issues.

If the out of date notification bothers you, open the mod folder and open the about XML.

Change your About XML to look like this to make the version mismatch notification go away:

-<supportedVersions>
<li>1.2</li>
<li>1.3</li>
</supportedVersions>

This 'should' still work with 1.3 as it primarily replaced the default sound bank and patches the core files using xpatch.

Can anyone confirm if this is functional as is for 1.3? just wanna make sure i can still use this with the new DLC

So far so good, i've been playing wit this for a while and it makes the gun sounds way better. I have a small critique, not a big fan of the sound change for the explosions, its a little underwhelming in my personal opinion, but the rest is great, thanks for this!

This sounds really nice, very refreshing from the same old sounds with a little more extra punch to the shots, thank you!
