I love this mod so far.

The only issue I have (which isn't really a big deal) is when I use these as walls for rooms that are pressurized. The block they take up acts as empty space and suffocates me.
However everywhere else in the room is fine.

Thank you for maintaining it!

Great idea, gives more incentive to put in more windows than I normally would. Did you have any plans to link them with window shutters ? I have seen a couple of shtuttered window mods but on yours it would make them even more useful than the others, just an idea. Thanks for your effort and hard work mate.

Has anyone noticed power from solar panels being incredibly low? Even with 100% view of the sun, it is only generating ~7k of the ~160k a panel SHOULD generate

saw all your comments, proceed to fix it rn
Ziggs.RS 14 Nov, 2020 @ 1:05pm
Unfortunately the latest update results in an immediate crash on load/launch. Please fix this.
Mirasha 14 Nov, 2020 @ 1:00pm
Having the same problem. World with only 6 mods was running perfectly stable till the 13th, then insta crash on load. Update to this mod (Which looks very promising, but hadn't built anything from it yet) was the only thing that changed. Even checked update dates on all other mods. No problems for the day or two it was in the load order before that update.
psycomando 14 Nov, 2020 @ 10:56am
Same problem here: I had to deactivate the mod for my world load
Marcus Aquila 14 Nov, 2020 @ 8:16am
Same problem here: every save with this mod crashes when trying to load...

Yup, just updated my server and now I have insta crash at boot.

Here is a pastebin link to the crash log.

So this is the only mod that I have that was updated today and running on my world. Every time i attempt to load in to the world, instant crash to desktop. I think something is broken.

oh, it comes along with other update, like progression. they will be in the same group as vanilla solar in progression, basically u can unlock other block by welding up this solar window.
and a tiny little update that revert the solar panel airtight property to the old vanilla window airtight, so it provides a bit more freedom and stuff like pressurized slope but expose to a tiny bit higher chance of leaking air. lemme know, im still not sure if i want the old airtight property or new ones

Hmm, I figure something out now, currently putting an update on solar panel's sun detection, the solar panel are expected to detect sun like how u want it to be. if something have 2 side facing different direction, then it can detect sun from both those sides, but for those block like solar panel faces. ima make them detect sun from all 6 side, cause idk how to make them detect sun at an angle, its still going to be 2 sided, so if u have been using them correctly, theres not much u need to worry about.

Good to know, I'll have to remember that in-case anyone else runs into the problem.
Sounds like you already figured out your permanent solution. Uploading through the game can be frustrating, especially with a poor internet connection.

@Shaostoul with a steam cmd, and i did a force workshop item upload/update with it, it doesnt fail me anymore, but its not permant fix, i still cant upload stuff ingame if i want a thumbnail, but a good thing with cmd is that i dont even need to start my game, run a command and it does the job, quite nice...oddly...
i acturally find it under someones elses workshop item, that had the same problem, took me a while to remember that ik there is a guy that suffer the problem and he is quite popular, so i thaught why dont i go to his item and see if the comment section have stuff to offer me, and there you go. now i just need a permant fix, which i think it also have it?
Shaostoul  [author] 9 Nov, 2020 @ 10:05pm
It's working! What'd you have to do?
Please Pick a Name  [author] 9 Nov, 2020 @ 9:42pm
@Shaostoul I think I fixed it? Did I fixed it? Can u see my thumbnail rn? Is it still a piece of grey?
Shaostoul  [author] 9 Nov, 2020 @ 8:49pm
Guess it doesn't like you. Did you look at it funny? Do you smell weird? Modding pre-released SE was almost never consistent, hope you're able to figure it out!
Please Pick a Name  [author] 9 Nov, 2020 @ 3:47pm
@Shaostoul well it is called thumb, the default name, it is supposed to call that and i never changed it, and it didnt work on me. it was working, idk why it doesnt now
Shaostoul  [author] 9 Nov, 2020 @ 1:02pm
Is it named properly? IIRC it's supposed to be thumb.jpg, tho it's been a long time
Please Pick a Name  [author] 9 Nov, 2020 @ 9:55am
lower the size of the thumbnail file to 299kb, tried both jpg and png, no luck, still thanks for the help mate :D
Skallabjorn 9 Nov, 2020 @ 9:29am
Check the size of the thumbnail file, that could be your problem, I have found under 300k is best. I also make sure its a .jpg vs a .png file.

He has my permission to fix/update my solar panel windows mod.
