pasechnik 20 Jul, 2021 @ 11:03am

Thanks GSid and trvd :)

pasechnik 23 Jun, 2021 @ 3:55am

YA TVOY ROT CELOVAL! (I kissed ur mouth) (NO GAYNESS)
Comrade Joe  [author] 29 Mar, 2021 @ 12:53pm
Ok forget the previous suggestion, I added a 3rd version as cultural attraction :)
Comrade Joe  [author] 29 Mar, 2021 @ 11:52am
Hmm, I was just thinking it would be nice if it could function as an attraction too. Maybe I can add it to the script, so that if you have the theater already, it will become one. It would be the ideal move, I'll ask around see if it works.

Hometown! THANKS!

Hello my friend I really like the work you have done here, great Model, but id love to see a third attraction mode included for the tourists I really think this would fit.
Anyway Greetings from Germany

Very nice, detailed building and it looks good in the game, not need to adjust brightness. Thanks.
Oolykee 18 Nov, 2020 @ 2:56am
I did not feel like I needed to adjust the brightness. But also I'm probably less qualified then most to judge on the colours and brightness.

I love the mod and I will be using it in my let's plays ASAP!

Just keep them coming. And believe that me and the community really appreciate your hard work!! :)
Comrade Joe  [author] 16 Nov, 2020 @ 1:47pm
yaaay ^_^ I was so happy to see that you included it ^_^

And damn, you were so right that I could/should have added a big ass antenna on the radio version to make them distinguishable (and more realistic ultimately). It completely skipped my mind once I was done with the modeling, I had added 2 small antennas (same in both versions though) and was a bit disappointed by the result, so I didn't think about it again. I'm thinking that maaaybe I might revisit it in the future and add a proper 10m tall antenna on the roof or something. Especially when colored blinking lights will become a thing in one of the future stable versions :)
I also like how it was rendered on your screen, did you feel like you had to re-ajust the brightness at all?

Oh, and there are quite a few plans for more "brutalist" (I think the term is used kinda in a broad sense here) buildings that I'll be making next :D

Thanks all for your kind comments :)

Great mod!!
Oolykee 16 Nov, 2020 @ 1:31pm
More Brutalism!! I love it!

Sausage and mash 12 Nov, 2020 @ 8:22am
great building dude! really detailed
Comrade Chumbucket 11 Nov, 2020 @ 8:54am
mmm, thats a nice model you have there, good job!
Comrade Joe  [author] 10 Nov, 2020 @ 9:29am
I thought I tuned the brightness/whiteness down enough to avoid the building being all white during the day. The brightness during sunset/sunrise is indeed more intense, but I find it's rather suiting. I will give it another look, but from my previous tests, the building would tend to become too gray and dark if I decrease the diffuse further. Of course, every user is free to adapt it according to their display particularities :)

Thanks for the comments/appreciation though :)
and yes I feel Junna's description pretty much nails it :)
peak *proper* Soviet modernism, maybe with a touch of futurism (as it should be :P )
Tesmio 10 Nov, 2020 @ 9:02am
10 Nov, 2020 @ 5:14am
dimndroll 10 Nov, 2020 @ 12:43am
great mod, comrade!
another piece of art from you!
Junna 9 Nov, 2020 @ 7:52pm
That is nice, this is peak proper Soviet modernism.
Comrade Joe  [author] 9 Nov, 2020 @ 4:47pm
Addendum: The building's design with the vertical "trenches" along the tower cause an unpleasant aliasing/moire effect, which was to be expected, and because it's modelled in 3D and not just a texture, it's impossible to get rid of. Nonetheless, I felt like it had to be included in the model for the best fidelity to the real life design :)
