i think this item needs to come with some kind of taunt showing off it's a cane-knife, or people are gonna be confused.

@JPRAS: Maybe make the swordcane's handle not team-coloured but either golden or black (as if it's made from ebony wood)?

Or ditch the curved handle entirely... it makes it look a bit like an umbrella handle and is too large and unwieldy. Look at real life swordcanes for inspiration that could be used as fencing rapiers. Most of them had a metal knob or handle shaped like a eagle head or similar, acting as a grip and counterbalance when the blade was pulled from the swordcane.

Some item modellers add a mod version that you can download and install (by replacing an existing item's model with the modded version), but unless the server you are on has the same mod installed, it will only be visible client-side (=for you).

This reminds me an old game where the main character was a theif weilding a cane. I like the design a lot!

With this knife, the alt-fire will no longer cloak you, but rather make it act like a cane, and with the cane, you are unable to deal or take damage, and you cannot switch weapons unless the weapon is out.

I think it would be cool if there was a casing around the knife blade that made it look like a cane when it's in idle, and then it splits and retracts when you attack.

Yeah, LIke you can't see the knife part when it's idle, but when you're ready to backstab you get into the second position.

I think it should be held more like a cane but it is AWESOME :D
