Angetrox because i heard nothing from DE and that usually means the design is not okay.

Might commit another version in a few weeks. Being careful to learn and keep the references in mind, but not having a lot of time lately. I'm sorry for that.

@Ventralhound Dont worry at all. I think the roughness channel didnt upload correctly. Think is better now.

I will wait a bit. You see how most skins change once DE starts working on them. Also I will ask for a micro-Detail like Ropalolyst have, but we cannot add to the Normals. Maybe I get some feedback this time. Worst scenario I can improve Kaneiko and Publish other stuff I have going on. Thank you for your time!

thank you for the viewer. at this stage the texture lacks contrast. it has a very cool sculpture, the only thing is that often the details on large objects are equally fine, this leads to the fact that from a distance the details blend into a flat surface. i might suggest diluting the uniformity with some deep large lines (see how other authors do). on textures - to bring back contrast, i might suggest slightly darkening the recesses along the curvature, or removing glitter from there, which immediately gives depth. I suggest that the metal parts get their shine back, because metal without shine becomes as dull as plastic. let me know if I'm over criticizing.

I didnt get any feedback. And I asked for it more than once. I will try getting some images from SP and then check about Sketchfab.
I almost didnt upload it in time. Chaotic week here. But thank you for your feedback. I was so tired I didnt even realize how bad the images were.

There's no need to apologize and delete the item. it's just that i liked this skin a long time ago, and i would like to understand how to make it better. the fact that you got feedback from the DE is already a good sign.

@AnubisTChacal could you upload the model to sketchfab? viewers don't have the opportunity to see the materials. that way it would be easier to tell what might be the problem.

Ventralhound Not really. Is Illumination issue I think. I didnt want to let it blank here, but I have to figure the new settings I need to use for better shots. Sorry about that.

@AnubisTChacal i'm also incredibly sorry about this beautiful idea. it's true that eidolons don't have a lot of metallics, but their bones have a slight metallic sheen at the chipping and bending points, you could have played on that. it would have given the materials a "truth". you could also have added abstract metal details that would have resembled the teralist batteries.
in the last version, a certain "dirtiness" inherent in the eidolons looked very advantageous.
I think the DE meant you should tone down the detailing a bit, also because of the metallics, which can look stroppy in the engine, but I could be wrong.

also, judging from the new screenshots, it seems to me that your albedo now has no gradations in tone, is this true? is there only colors?

Ventralhound I am sorry to read that.
I have been working a lot on that last weeks. The issue is DE dont tell everyone what is wrong and the previous version had too much metal, which I thought could be the issue. It has to fit the game aesthetics for Eidolons.

it's a shame to realize, but the skin has lost all of its appeal. you may have been asked to reduce the detail, but you went overboard. i really hope you can provide a viewer to see if the screenshots just don't convey enough detail and surface materiality.

A bit more work on the textures and this could be really cool. work on contrast through material and try to guide the eye with it.

A beautiful skin that gives the feeling of a lone creature traveling on the surface of a nightmare world. Wisp's themes of light, portals, and growth would tie in well with this bone-and-flesh looking skin. 10/10.

texrei I am flattered you think that! Thank you! I just dont know exactly what you mean by compression. The renders are using the same textures I sent DE. But feel free to message me your concerns. :steamhappy:

That's truly impressive. One of the most fantastic skins i've seen here, amount of details is crazy. I only wonder - how well it will handle the compression, because it can ruin the whole idea

I was so excited when you updated the skin and I couldn't help but click right away to look at it.

You're heading in the right direction it looks gorgeous!
I would personally add a few more... Eh, LED..? (I hope that make sense) to make her body more flashy like Sentient are since it seem to be the Theme here. Because I LOOOOVE the tendrils attached to the head, it's beautiful!
