Really cool and powerful mod. You can have a lot of fun with it, but better you don´t play with permadeath in this case :spazhorror:

Last time I tested it, I found there were enough interesting ways to ignite the gas in the game, due to the fact that it's based on temperature, so anything in the game capable of increasing the temperature sufficiently can ignite the gas, leading to some interesting strategies. It's actually really overpowered in my testing, and I feel like the requirement of igniting it for it to be of any use is a downside that's needed to make it even remotely "balanced".

In terms of being able to toggle it off for quick combat usage, that's already possible as far as I can tell. The move is a "toggle" like all gas moves, so you should be able to toggle it off at any point you desire.

I might take a look at re-balancing this at some point, I haven't tested it in a while so it may be that with the newer patches it's more awkward to use than when I released it. Thanks for leaving a comment, I appreciate the feedback.

Either that or limiting the duration to just a few rounds maximum (2-3). Increasing the duration with level makes sense for Corrosive Gas Generation and Sleep Gas Generation, because those are based around continuous effects (and come with immunity to their primary effect), but here releasing the gas is setup for a single-moment effect.

The grenades are great for just exploding an entire area, but the mutation is kinda badly thought out, because there's no real effective way to ignite it without blowing yourself up too most of the time. If only because the high-level versions, which you need to get if you want to release a significant concentration, mean you keep releasing gas for so long you need to stay in battle for quite a while if you want to set it off without setting off some in your direct vicinity.

Some way to toggle off gas generation so you can use the high-level version to release a burst, then move away and ignite it without leaving a trail of gas back to wherever you've run to ignite it would be nice.

Love to light my own gas. 10/10.
