Um it's never happened to me, idk if it's a beta issue or just something that could've potentially happened randomly (maybe you fell to the ground while changing fire modes, that tends to break everything)

@Arsenic Actually the STG44 has no relation to the HK33, the STG44 is a long stroke, tilting bolt design and the HKs are roller delayed blowback. The gun that you are probably thinking of that inspired the HK designs is the STG45, it was roller delayed blowback and never left the prototype stage.
