@WatcherCCG no problem! you can use Steam's "add non-Steam game" feature to add oSB. if oSB is opened after Steam, it will automatically use your Steam Workshop mods and count as Starbound hours, invites, etc

Is that update compatible with Steam Starbound? Or is it reliant on the open-source aspects of the unlocked version of the game. Hell, I didn't even know SB was now open source now.

To be fair, I haven't had proper contact with him in years. I knew he had bad relations with several pillars of the community, but a lot of these are new to me. A pity. I'd hoped he'd matured some over the years...

But on the plus side, I've found you and your works. SIP is a core piece of my loadout, and this mod is yet another piece of my anti-anticheat lineup. Thank you for this mod. And I'm sorry about the treatment you've suffered.

@WatcherCCG I disagree on the respect part. He's caused the most harm to the SB community, from stealing mods (such as my swim mod. He justifies his theft by saying the mods were "there for anyone to use", which makes me think of a lunch theft stealing a coworker's food from the fridge), making FU crash the game if it detect mods he dislikes, listing mods he dislikes on the incompatibility page solely because "nobody should he using that bitch's mods", lying about the political views of modders to defame them, etc etc.

I've been part of Sayter's community since Frackin Universe was still Frackin Flora. I respect him, but I also agree that his insistence on anti-cheat measures is a waste of everyone's time, including his own. Modders will find a way. Better to just let them do as they wish.

Ah yes, I remember trying to spawn one of these using the spawnable item pack but being met with a "haha Kevin rigged this" piece of nonsense. There's zero good reasons why they would do this. Essentially you have to go and load that precursor mission if you want to check up on what weapons you can upgrade, and once you gain access to the microsphere you can just easily get there through a shortcut. This removes the middleman. So obnoxious.

anyone seeing you hold the Cosmic Crucible (like as you're placing it) will probably just see you waving a PGI around, but once you place it, everything will be fine!

I don't know what to say other than it seems Sayter wants to force people to play in a way he sees fit, like excessive grinding with the research update, removing the strange seas randomness, the mountain ore generation etc. Good things mods exist as well as the option to rollback on FU for stuff like that. Thanks Silver Sokolova for adding more alternative options.
