Hello everyone, just wanna know:
1 does all the primary weapons' buttstock strikes have the same power (eg, 3 hits to kill enemy) and hit range (eg. can only hurt enemys 0.6m away)?
2 does all the handguns' grip strikes have the same power (eg, 3 hits to kill enemy) and hit range (eg. can only hurt enemys 0.3m away)?
3 does all the rifles' fixed bayonet strikes have the same power (eg, 3 hits to kill enemy) and hit range (eg. can only hurt enemys 1m away)?

I know I can use Zeus to tell units to charge, and you can edit the range of which a unit decides to melee. But I wish there was a way to order my squad or ally units to "switch" to melee behavior

Anybody know why the melee animations are broken for me? Like when me or ai try to do a buttstock kill, it plays the successful animation but the ai simply gets back up and then it starts an inifnite melee loop

Hey Webknight, a thought for if you get around to doing more work on this;
- Some sort of UI that allows us to edit the damage dealt and damage received on a per person basis would be amazing, something tied to the models attributes menu maybe?
- In the same vein, either the ability to edit an individual units stamina (either total amount of consumption rate)

The idea here being I want to have a Knight that can take more blows in his plate armour than a Man-at-Arms does, given it's scripted damage though I cannot find a mod/piece of code that would allow me to do that.

Is there any way to disable dodging with the melee weapons?

On a mission I am making you will fall through the object and I don't see any other option in the addon settings beside disable dodge with a rifle.

I found a small solution to the "save game problem" in single player. It's a bit complicated but it works. Before you restart the game, copy the saved game you need to another folder.

Detailed instructions:
You can find the save file under
documents -> Arma-otherprofiles -> "yourname" -> Saved -> missions -> "scenarioname"

There you will find all your saved games. Copy that one you want to keep into another folder where you can find it again.

Then you start the game and the mission NEW. Do not load a game. You will receive a message that all your saves will be deleted. That's ok. The game starts and melee combat works again. Then copy the save game from the other folder back into the folder:
documents -> Arma-otherprofiles -> "yourname" -> Saved -> missions -> "scenarioname"

Now in the game you can click on “load” and the old save will be back. You load it and everything works.

Only the Regular Melee swing attacks aren't working.

So I've had this mod for several months and, when I first tried it, the stealth kill worked. I didn't use it for a while, but I've recently enabled it again and now the stealth kill doesn't work. I noticed your last update was related to the stealth kill. Is it correct to understand we must copy that script to the player before they can perform a stealth kill?

For some reason whenever i use any one handed weapon my character holds their binoculars in their offhand its incredibly jarring and random if anyone knows how to fix this please let me know

Hello there, I don't know if its a setting but when I have two ai facing off against another other ai will not stop trying to shoot the enemy ai while a friendly is in a melee fight, usually that friendly dies to friendly fire :/

Good afternoon, first of all, I want to thank you and everyone who helped you for your work, thank you very much. The mod is cool. Required for my collections. However, I would like to ask you for possible help, I also like to use Project injury reaction(RIP) in Warlords mode with this mod, now I have found out that if I use melee weapons from your mod in the player's second weapon slot equipped, or in my hands, as well as if I create my own faction, and I also equip the characters in the second slot with melee weapons, then the comrades on the side ignore the player after being wounded. I will be grateful for any help. But in any case, thanks again for your hard work.

So, I was playing with it your mod and there was the option ''ACE : Send unconscious'' for melee and stealth attack so I tried it but it just insta killed the AI and didn't do anything else. Is it a bug or I forgot to click o nanother option?

Anyway to remove the ACE check? I use ACE no med and PiR but noticed that when i go to melee downed enemies it does this strange Clash animation and both characters move backwards for a sec then I have to go and melee him again for it to work.

there seems to be a problem with ace medical and this mod. if a soldier is unconscious/incapacitated and lying on the ground and you get close to them they will instantly get up and melee attack you. can you please disable ai being able to attack while in the unconscious/incapacitated state. it is really annoying. thanks.

How to solve this problem:Stops working when continuing from a saved game
When you load up a saved game the red/green health/stamina bars disappear, weapon swinging and punching no longer work.
