Hey! This is my first mod and it was meant to be a comedy sequel to SOMA.
Essentially, the story plot here is that Munshi was behind everything and the "Tracer Fluid" is what caused Simon to hallucinate Pathos-II.
During this mod, Simon loses this fluid in his blood, and that's why the "Pathos-II world" is falling apart, until he regains consciousness infront of Munshi.
Unfortunately for Simon, Munshi manages to regain control and inject Simon with more Tracer Fluid, causing him to have to redo the Pathos-II experience from the beginning, and unto an infinite depressing loop.

I have made another comedy mod later on called "Munshi Dating Simulator", which follows a different approach, although a lot more polished and comedy-themed.

Can confirm it is a client issue. Fixed it by updating my video settings like you said.

I can not replicate this. I suspect it's an issue on your end. All I can think of is trying to lower your graphical settings and starting a new game. (All the game does at that time is just load a new map like normal)

Verifying game files didnt do anything. The nature is that when I hit the loading zone, the game freezes and crashes. No error was given as the game crashes almost instantly.

Having an error when going between the loading zone in the starting hallway, after munshi jumpscares you. Is there a way to pass this?

The code runs functions that the base game uses, and I can't replicate the issue.

Did you verify game files? This is the first time I see this happen, and it seems like it is a problem that continues to happen for you.

restarted the game, now I can not re-plug anything into socket #2. I start with unplugging all cables, and then only 3 sockets can be re-plugged.

Also, attempt to see if verifying game files helps.

That's odd, maybe there was a bug in that particular playthrough. I've never experienced it. You should be able to plug all wires into any socket. Did you try restarting SOMA?

Maybe Im stupid here, but with the puzzle with 4 wires hanging from wall, I unplugged them, and none of them can be re-plugged into the number 1 (right-moset) socket. All other 3 sockets work on all 4 cambles. what gives?

Verify game files and try these steps:
1. Subscribe
2. Open SOMA
3. Click "Play Mod"
4. Select "Play Custom Content"
5. Select "The Truth"
6. Click OK

If this does not work for you, download the github version and follow the installation process on the github page. The github version is a bit of an older version so it might have more bugs but it's still worth a try. https://github.com/Slithersy/the_truth

I've tried to download this several times, but it never lets me play it. It keeps taking me to the main game menu. Any tips on what I might be doing wrong? I subscribe and it shows the game downloading, but when it finishes it disappears and I can't find it again. I unsubscribe and subscribe again, to find the same result.

I've never had this issue , I don't even use any loops.
Maybe try verifying game files?

The game gets stuck at loading after the Munshi encounter, and the cpu load goes up to 90+ percent. Is that some kind of an obfuscated bitcoin miner?
