Why are people asking for updates? You all stupid or something? Its been 3 years.
dgallagher4 13 Aug, 2023 @ 3:10pm
I would love a version of this mod that adds to your MAA. Why have useless levies when you can afford a professional army?
jzachar1 19 Jan, 2023 @ 5:37am
Oh man! I would LOVE to use this mod!!! Hopefully someone can update it or remake it?
Clumsy 12 Dec, 2022 @ 11:43pm

Edaryion 28 Aug, 2022 @ 6:57am
This seems like a great mod. Hopefully it is updated.

Unfortunately the mod stopped reducing the amount of levies thus makes 100 knights gained for free XD its too OP. I reallt hope if you can check on this and fix it.... and i feel sorry for your poor hdd.

@H.P.Eisenhower As I've said earlier - my hdd with all files related to this mod had died, so I basically need to recreate it from scratch, and all my spare time currently goes to jumpstart a new project with my friends.
If I find some time, I'll try to make this mod better (or make a new one)
Obviousnickname 6 Nov, 2021 @ 3:06am
I really like this mod, but can you also make a version that gives a higher MAA limit? to kind of larp a professional army?
Jacky Treehorn 3 Nov, 2021 @ 3:53am
perfekt for crusader blade !
Memir Masher 2 Sep, 2021 @ 6:22am
Instead of static values for knights why not make it a ratio?

For every 10.000 levies a knight etc.

And options would be for changing the ratio like:

Innitial: 100.000 levies
Low Knight ratio: 1 knight 90.000 levies
Hİgh knight ratio: 9 knights 10.000 levies

etc.

Does this also increase the supply of available knights? I have trouble keeping 13 competent knights, let alone 20+.

First of all awesome mod, having a lot of fun with it. But just one thing, and I'm not sure if this has been bought up before, but this mod really breaks the 'Determined Pilgrim' modifier. It more then doubled my monthly piety when I had about 50 knights. Maybe a slight tweak to that modifier would be a good idea balance wise. There are probably other knight dependent modifiers in the game that would become unbalanced with such a large amount of knights.

@Mythraelis you can clic raise and stop it, like, the next day afte you started raising. You should have all your knights and M-a-A raised at that point. Then just click stop raising. Takes like two seconds, but yes - not the most convenient system.
Mythraelis 22 Apr, 2021 @ 11:59pm
Ok, it works now. I've changed the volume to -200 % and now only Byzantion (bcs of Theodesian Wall with +300%) is giving me levies.
Bcs it is additive and not multiplicative, you can change to whatever reduced Nmber you want.
Mythraelis 20 Apr, 2021 @ 11:55am
@Kazimir

These are my Levies.
And hey, it is a mod, no pressure on you. :-)
I like the idea of this mod.
I don't like the actual raising method, where you can't chosse an exact Number and Army Composition -and store this decision for the future- and then the raising starts. In a big empire, you have to wait til 80.000 levies are there, then your 60 mongonells appear without anysiege would be a pain in the a....
Kazimir Rasputin  [author] 20 Apr, 2021 @ 8:13am
@Mythraelis These are probaly your vassals levies. Have you given them a trait as well? Even then game does not seem to want to obey this trait in full.
Sadly, my hdd with all the files and notes for this mod (and new version of it - which is much more painful) decided to die two months ago, so I need to start from scratch. Which is very unfortunate, because my head is on fire because of my jobs.
Mythraelis 19 Apr, 2021 @ 2:07pm
My levies aren't reduced even if i have -99% of them.
Fly_Squirrell 16 Apr, 2021 @ 12:25pm
I can see great use in this for my Annocromatic mod, as that makes your levy pool absolutely massive and can become so large that to raise your whole army will literally crash your game if you become large and powerful enough.
watch12angel 22 Mar, 2021 @ 3:05pm
some issue with russian loc. no change l_english for l_russian in file
Caedwyn 15 Mar, 2021 @ 4:57am
thank you for responding
love your work

sad about that, it seems i have no other option but to break immersion and start giving kingdoms to others (i wanted to take the world without any vassals xD )
NotFox 14 Mar, 2021 @ 4:36pm
@Caedwyn
Can't remove levies completely or it would break the game, it's hardcoded.
Caedwyn 14 Mar, 2021 @ 4:31pm
can you please make one that reduces levies even more ?
NotFox 1 Mar, 2021 @ 1:34pm
Ooh this is nice
FlamingFeather 13 Jan, 2021 @ 11:31am
sounds great.
Kazimir Rasputin  [author] 13 Jan, 2021 @ 5:05am
@ FlamingFeather I can sure give it a try when I get better from my flu).
FlamingFeather 12 Jan, 2021 @ 11:23am
I understand you're mod is aiming for a nice rebalance of the focus of your army. I can appreciate that. I'm just a silly bastard who runs with mods that remove child limits for everyone. So I've been trying to figure out how to make the extra children more relevant, outside of succession. Knights seem to be the most effective way of doing so.

On the note of the global +100 knights. You've already messed with the knights system a bit, so do you think it would be something easy enough, that you'd be interested in putting it together for like $50?
Kazimir Rasputin  [author] 12 Jan, 2021 @ 5:45am
@ FlamingFeather The idea is not to just give everyone more knights, but to shift balance of the army. But i would imagine it is not too hard.

Also, I've been tinkering with a mod a bit lately, trying to switch away from traits, but no dice so far.
FlamingFeather 11 Jan, 2021 @ 7:30pm
how hard would it be to make a mod that's just a global, everyone gets +100 Knights?
Kazimir Rasputin  [author] 4 Dec, 2020 @ 8:29am
@lewisttran3 I may consider this after all the functionality is done. Sadly, I don't have enougth time lately, but project is not dead.
TeleportBehindYou 3 Dec, 2020 @ 10:23pm
would be great if the AI can use it. Late game countries should be getting rid of their levy system in favor of a better standing army system using better trained soldiers. Would make for great battles where its knights vs knights.
Toto ✙ 27 Nov, 2020 @ 1:11pm
this mod is interesting i'll try it
Kazimir Rasputin  [author] 26 Nov, 2020 @ 7:27am
@Tia, I've hit a bit of a wall here, because I want to switch to multiplicative bonuses for all the troops, not just flat +number as with the knights. This will be better balance-wise. Also I want to make the mod targeting your whole realm, not just specifir rulers (in currets state effect of -99.9% levies in large empire is negligeble because of all the indirect vasssals).

@Aardappelpuree if you asling about genegal viability, then yes - depending on your champions prowess you can end up with a small, but very powerful army. If you can find that many cortiers that is. One knight with just 10 prowes is equal to 100 peasants damagewise and as tougth as 10 of them, so yeah, it is quite viable in war. Also, your army will need a lot less supplies and cost less money during war.
Aardappelpuree 24 Nov, 2020 @ 10:52am
Is this actually viable to use in war?

Do go on...

Теперь должно работать, спасибо за наводку. У меня то на английском игра, забыл что ещё один файл добавил.
FlipKor 22 Nov, 2020 @ 2:31am
Судя по нику думаю автор знает русский язык. Там в русском языке в фаилах локализации надо вместо l_english поменять на l_russian. И не хватает aok_interactions_l_russian для контекстного меню. А то на русском локализация не работает.
А так спасибо за мод
Kazimir Rasputin  [author] 21 Nov, 2020 @ 9:56pm
It is a player-only. At least for now. Still working on it.
ryoyo 21 Nov, 2020 @ 5:59pm
Is this player-only, or can AI use it as well?
