Thanks ! I haven't been active for some time, but I'm still glad people enjoy my levels. This was the first level I made that I was really proud of. Simple design yet complex at the same time!

I remember playing this 2 years ago! Glad I found this again

Thanks Kapayot, I'll give it a go soon and give you my feedback!

In the Lab: One Beam is the top map as I believe. I got acquainted with the game only six months ago. I passed all the additions and now I pass various cameras from the community of players. Recently I tried to create my own camera, although I am very weak in computer knowledge. If you don't mind, test my camera: Kapayot (I can't see well, so I feel better) and write what you think about it, this will allow me to create the following maps more interesting. I have no one to turn to, no one I know wants to break my brain over such a game. Thank you in advance.

Very good PeterLucas. Thank you for the test.

Awesome!

Not sure what you mean by hidden surface, but it's okay, this puzzle is not for everyone. Experienced players usually find it too simple, and new players tend to find it really challenging and fun.

I recommend you try my puzzles called Sendificator Reloaded and Under the Lab. They're my best, most challenging puzzles! They use a puzzle element called the sendificator, which sends cubes placed onto it to the end of a laser beam.

Cheers!

Visually, it's rly enjoyable. But the puzzle itself, not so good. I particularly dislike how u get to the laser by portaling a hidden surface on the left of the laser.

The very definition of "deceptively simple!!"

Anyone has problem downloading this map? Portal 2 errors out on this.
RenCG 3 Dec, 2020 @ 4:47pm
Excellent minimalist puzzle !

Thank you Zoraya! I like getting a thumbs up from someone who creates amazing levels, it always means so much more! Keep up the good work, your levels are awesome!
Zoraya 28 Nov, 2020 @ 1:55pm
Good puzzle! I like to play with the laser and angles and this one was not too easy. Thumbs up!

Excellent little puzzle took me a while for the penny to drop!:steamhappy:

Very tricky. Had to resort to the walkthrough!

I'm talking about his mother-in-law tomorrow))
PeterLucas  [author] 26 Nov, 2020 @ 5:49pm
@phale2001 thanks!

@dmuk, you ever seen George Carlin's video about how people always want more stuff? https://youtu.be/MvgN5gCuLac

Seriously I got puzzles with more stuff if that's your thing. It was my attempt at making a "minimalist" kind of stuff.
dmuk 26 Nov, 2020 @ 4:57pm
Sometimes, stuff is there for a reason....
PeterLucas  [author] 25 Nov, 2020 @ 11:49pm
Thanks! I just added my official, intended walkthrough in the description!
phale2001 25 Nov, 2020 @ 2:25pm
I liked this one. It did take me a while to figure where to put the cube, in order to get the right angle. Good map!
PeterLucas  [author] 25 Nov, 2020 @ 6:03am
Yes that's the intended solution! You can use any surfaces you want, the angles will be more or less the same. For your first laser catcher, using another surface gives a better viewpoint. The one you did was not intended.
bullfrog 25 Nov, 2020 @ 1:41am
Well, I'm out; I did it by two different methods and I'm not convinced that either are correct intended method(s) ? I’ll look at what the others did.
ZAEROS 24 Nov, 2020 @ 8:05am
Good fun map, Enjoyed, Thank you, Finding that common angle took me a while,
Skyferret 23 Nov, 2020 @ 9:42pm
I always like to go back to the Portal 1 look and feel (and the sounds) once in a while.

UPDATE NOTICE:

Got rid of unintended solution discovered by Joric.
HouseholdDragon 23 Nov, 2020 @ 8:05am
Neat! I like the classic portal textures and sounds!
Joric 23 Nov, 2020 @ 3:12am
Got here from the spam post in Alternate by Zoraya . Does this map imply angled-lasers-through-portals solution: https://youtu.be/wtD7kEy1MXI ? That's usually frowned upon, also not really a puzzle, definitely not a medium one.
levitatingspleen 23 Nov, 2020 @ 3:00am
I really like how this chamber is laid out, it manages a good degree of complexity with very few elements. Definitely my favorite chamber of yours that I've played so far! There was a laser angle toward the beginning that felt a bit tight and maybe unintended? I recorded my walkthrough so you can see what I mean.

Intended solution? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7e1FgZmnfxQ&ab_channel=IanGoldberg

Thanks everyone for the comments!

@Galaxygrizzly: I used the bee2 map editor. Look up in the forums for more info if you want to have more features for your levels. It's actually quite user-friendly once you manage to have a correct installation.
Royall 22 Nov, 2020 @ 3:10pm
i like it but i want to ask, how did you put wheatley in it???
-(P)- Sunrat 22 Nov, 2020 @ 2:54pm
