Kaijira-- Don't worry about it. I subcribed to your other one
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2644918249 and it works just fine and has more stuff. BTW thanks for sharing these, they are outstanding!

Loaded it up with mod cache off, watched a friend load it up who's never opened the workshop, and manually checked a couple dozen asset links using a browser.

I re-uploaded the workshop on an alt so you could try loading a fresh json file, but steam seems to be having issues at the moment. I'll have to get that link to you tomorrow.

Also, every other mod I subscribe to loads fine. This one loads not a single thing.
Terrovar 8 Dec, 2021 @ 5:51pm
Kaijira- Did you try loading it with Mod Caching off? That will force it to load from the interwebs instead of your local drive.
Kaijira  [author] 8 Dec, 2021 @ 4:44pm
Tested it on my alt, and had a friend test the workshop on a fresh TTS install (to rule out cached files) and it seemed to work. I believe the problem might be on your end.

If anyone else is having issues, let me know. If there's enough people having trouble I can try re-uploading the workshop with fresh links.

@Terrovar I can't imagine why that might be the case. Everything should be stored on the Steam Cloud (aside from the chests I suppose). I'll look into it.

In the meantime, my newer Raid workshop should have all these models re-uploaded, as well as a lot more.

The whole thing is broken now. Not a single thing loads

Hope this gets updated someday, Raid itself is an ok mobile at best but there's a lot of really nice designs.

I haven't had a chance to look into it lately. Once I finish my current mod I'll check it out.

Any chance The Tools required to port newer models in from raid get the update you needed yet? I like this mod a lot and If the newer characters could be added It would be amazing. If not it's chill because well I get the tediousness of doing the same long process over and over again. None the less the mod is amazing and if newer models end up being added that's a bonus to it. Keep up the great work!

HOLY SH*TBALLS This is fantastic !!

I keep telling myself I'll come back to this someday, but it won't be in the near future. The remaining models just take too much time to properly upload.

I'm waiting for Blender FBX plugins to work with the raw files, or for some Raid specific model ripping tools that will streamline the process. Without either of those things it would just take more man hours than I'm willing to commit at this time.

These are genuinely superb and exactly what Ive been looking for. They cover so many different areas Ive been looking for models for.

I used to play RAID. I know you're not paid and doing this purely for the community but do you have more statics in the pipeline?

Hey Man, cool job!
I'm really into models, and Raid Shadow Legends has some great ones. Since you're the only one on the internet who has bothered to explain, may I venture a question regarding your steps below?

1. Find a file dump of Raid (very google-able)
I'm stuck at this one. Sorry.
I feel like I have tried a few things, but maybe I don't know the right things to google, or I'm looking for the wrong thing entirely. Could you elaborate?
I am of course also open to having a dialogue about it in private, if you would prefer. I have discord as well.

Thank you for your time!

great!

Thank you!

Very high quality models. Thanks for the upload.
Kaijira  [author] 11 Dec, 2020 @ 1:13pm
I assumed the weapon models were shrunk, rather than just moved really far below the models. An oversight on my part, thanks for pointing it out. Added to my notes and will be fixed when I get around to updating.

I'm really not great at explaining things, but I'll give it a go

1. Find a file dump of Raid (very google-able)
2. Open the FBX file, pick animation and frame, export to obj format (apply modifiers)
3. Convert textures to jpeg or png
4. Upload

If Blender can't open the FBX files. Convert to gltb using Windows 3D viewer.
Invisible textures need an inverted transparency layer mask applied (Gimp can do this)
All the models are rigged, but not all of them have animation files. Bones are properly named, so you can share animations between similar Raid models.

1000 letters is too few for this...

Any chance you could post a tutorial? I'd love to help speed up the process of porting these over.
Harold of the Rocks 8 Dec, 2020 @ 4:07am
These models are top-notch awesome, however I found some broken bits here and there... I've taken the liberty of fixing the ones I noticed in this collection https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2311460350 namely there were some floating weapon artifacts in some of the minotaur models. Thank you so much for nabbing this for the community, kaijiramk7! Generous donations of dill for all to share...

the only thing raid shadow legends is good for

The quality and variety of these models and the great poses really make it a great conversion and a great gift from you. Truly a beautiful and very useful collection. Needless to say, like others, I hope that you will continue this work, even if from what I have read it involves difficulties and hard work. My advice is to defer the effort over time, without haste, but to continue because with the number of models you have at your disposal it could become a really important mod. In any case, really thank you.:steamhappy:
Baryonyx 26 Nov, 2020 @ 8:27am
These are great, thanks a lot for importing them!

I think what fenix is confused about, and I was too at first is that when reading "animations", we expected moving figures. But still, the poses are great!

Would you be willing to share the original t-posed models? I'd like to use some of the figures for a project of mine.
Kaijira  [author] 26 Nov, 2020 @ 6:33am
The animation files let me apply a pose to the model without manually moving every joint into position. It would probably take an hour for me to pose each model manually.

Normally I'd just take the time, but with hundreds of models I can't see myself finishing such a huge task. So for now I'm trying to streamline a way to apply the animations I do have to the T-posed models.
fenix555551 26 Nov, 2020 @ 5:22am
Animations? But these presented here are stationary...alas, I'm a newbie in that regard.
Kaijira  [author] 25 Nov, 2020 @ 4:04pm
I have about 322 more models, but they aren't playing friendly with the animations. If I can ever figure out a simple way to apply them I'll add more. Outside of that I can't guarantee anything.
fenix555551 25 Nov, 2020 @ 3:51pm
Amazing work. At first I thought it might be of shady quality or not working at all, but the models included are awesome. Think you could add more? I would love to see the whole Order or Knights sets
