The Scavenger Bot was most likely killed in the time war in heaven is out.

never found this scavenger bot, but I was able to see the tech again. So i've got the transmuters up and running, which is convient because I lost the l-cluster to the enemy side of the War in Heaven.

Aim for L-cluster or Scavenger bot. But only Scavenger has it guaranteed.

*sigh* too bad we can't just shove the transmuter into the permnant slots/flag like you get from reverse engineering enemy ships. guess I'll only get a short burst of extra research speed after waiting for nanite miners

Most of the techs in the game are luck based. Most will appear but since it is not based on event but only on having nanites inside territory it might seemingly appear only once. I myself was repeatly pushing devs to remade nanite trasmuter so it more like my mod since the building is useless otherwise. Maybe if the get to it one day they might also change the nanite techs.

had it popped up after I conquered L cluster but didn't research it because I forgot about this mod's existence. so its shoved into the pool of things that will never appear again.

Usually there is a tech for nanite transmuter after you get some from mining in L-cluster or after killing The Scrapper there are some nanites too. I haven´t changed the techs. Their requirements are the same as before. Zro and living metal can be obtained from multiple events or Here be Dragons origin where you will get living metal deposit. Zro you can easily find inside Shroud walker enclave except random deposits from anomalies.

nah, just wanted to make my own living metal instead of relying upon the galatic market to fund my megastrutures build speed. also I am assuming I need to research the actual nanite transmute tech to build the things.

Gestalts don´t usually have a way of reaching any of zro techs if I am correct. Cause they cannot have the zro edicts nor any of the ship components. The edits are not balanced around gestalts in the first place. DEVs stayted that hives will not have a way of accesing shroud since it would break the game at this stage. Zro mining/Zro Distillation also has prerequisites like Psionic Theory.
But if you bring up something good to convince me. I will try to change it.

hm, how do I get Zro mining tech if I am a gestalt? maybe add in a way for zro mining tech to drop for gestalts?

Okay the mod should be working again fully. There was some trouble with AI weight for those buidlings. Now it might build it less or not at all but with this mod the main goal is to have the nanites ready for edict or the repair system from Scavenger Bot. I don´t think AI really needs it. If there are any trouble than tell me please. :)

Well 102 would be too much for me in the late game :D and also it is gonna change in next versions so I am looking forward towards those changes.

36 building slots is too boring. I prefer 102.

I haven't tested it much but it seems to have no problems with any mod I came across so far. It changes only transmuter building. New buildings do not provide any new jobs (same as it was with the old transmuter). For that I recomend using mods to add more building slots because it might be complicated to have such building on planet with low amount of building slots. It is save compatible.

Interesting. What about compatibility with other mods that insert buildings to? The Transmuter building add new jobs? Its save game comp? Sorry the multi questions, i'm high on coffee.
