Hi there, I'm not able to replicate the missing plesiosaurus but assets can fail to load from time to time. Try disabling "Mod Caching" in Configuration/Game settings, then reload TTS and the mod. This can sometime fix the problem. This mod uses a ton of scripting so sometimes things can be a little fragile.

Hi,
when loading the module, I get a "Can't load object" error. Since I also can't find the plesiosaurus meeples (and because there is also a suspicious gap between the mosasaur and the ichthyosaur meeple supply), I presume that it's the plesiosaur meeple that couldn't be loaded. Is this a known issue?
I'm currently helping myself by instead placing some "very special stegosaur" meeples into my aquatic habitats, but a solution for actual plesiosaurus meeples would also be quite appreciated :-)

Triceratops has two active states, paired and alone. You can cycle them with the number keys. Note: the newer changes coming with New Arrivals are not yet active.

I noticed the comment on the other Dinogenics module that New Arrivals is playable here, but it doesn't appear to be included in this module. Am I doing something wrong?

Sure. Uploaded. There may be a few oddities in place as we get the new artwork uploaded but it should be playable now with most of the new species and cards.

Sorry to hear that and thanks for letting us know. I’m not sure if it will help but we will be releasing a new version of the mod in about a month that will include the additions of the upcoming New Arrivals expansion. The mod developer reworked some of the code and I hope that will fix your issue!

Hi there, I love Dinogenics and play it often with a friend. For the past month or so we've been getting a P2P error and both getting disconnected from my Tabletop Sim game (and sadly when trying to reload the game, the scripting no longer works so we can't resume the game). It only seems to be happening with Dinogenics and happens pretty consistently for us now, often when we're midway through the game (usually on about round 5 I think?). I'm not sure if this is a Dinogenics issue, a TTS issue or something else, but I thought I'd let you know about it. Thanks for the heads up! I’ll see if we can find a fix for the problem but if it ever happens again take a look on the left-hand side of the board, there are some manual point controls. You should be able to reset it to zero, after which I believe it will correct itself.

In a game I just had, the Corrupted T-Rex news card came out early and meant that one of the players actually had a negative score (-2 victory points) at the end of a couple rounds. This seemed to break the scripting, since the VP display (the little circle on the individual's player board) was stuck at -2 and gave an error about scripting a null value or something to that effect. The scripting got stuck and wouldn't move past the calculate VP step, the actual VP track would update but the score on the player board wouldn't. I'm not sure if there's a way to fix that or if it's just how computers work.

We always play that way. Doesn’t seem to have made a difference. This has only been happening since the latest update. Would be happy to send screenshots if that would help - where should they go?

Interesting. I am not able to reproduce that, but I am not going to say it isn’t happening. I will have our mod maker take a look at the script and see if he sees anything amiss.

One suggestion I have is to make sure someone is seated in correct seats before doing the initial scripted setup. Sometimes it doesn’t track information correctly until a position is activated.

When I load the mod, for each player I get a blank green disc for credits. No value, no buttons to adjust the value. Every time a script runs that would adjust value (claiming credits for visitors, facilities that grant credits, etc) I get an error message.

It looks like the Credits no longer work after the latest major TTS update. We just generated some tokens to use in game, and that worked okay, but am I the only person having this issue?

Hey there. If you right click the Therizinosaurus you can change its state. This will set him to the right VP per round for the larger habitat.

couple issues from last few games we played. Dinos no longer snap correctly to the biodome. The second issue we found was that Theriznosaurus does not recognize when its in a 4 or larger habitat and the water dinos do not stop counting points if in a destroyed habitat. those are the biggest things we noticed after a few plays, awesome game and one of our most played games.

Disregard that! We were playing wrong. We thought it was +3 rep to stego, not 3 rep total for stego. The tile is indeed working correctly! Thanks again!

Steggo statue should be automatic once it is added to a players park but I will look into it. If you search the DinoGenics box you should also find some golden tokens that adjust reputation if you need a temp solution.

Amazing job on this mod! Is there a way to adjust reputation for the scripts the same way as the VP adjuster on the left? Some things weren't being calculated, like Stegosaurus Statue's boosting of stego reputation. I was on the fence when I heard that there was some kickstarter stock up for sale, and this mod pushed me over the edge, I had to have everything available. Great work!

Someday I'll get it back on the physical table (should probably see about updating my BGG guide...). And then I don't have to be envious of the Dinosaur Island metal coins, since mine are better!

We are also aware of a couple scripting shortcomings of this mod and hope to be fixing them in the near future.

In the middle of a game of this tonight, and just want to say...this is one of the best (if not the best) mods I've seen on TTS. The scripting is super convenient and I'm starting to worry my physical copy and the nice metal coins are going to gather dust even once we can play in person once more!
