Appreciate that you are porting this to WH3, since it sounds like quite the project to do so, would it be possible for you to release a mod that is just the eye effect in the meantime?

Hopefully... one beautiful day... next year. This one will be an absolute motherfucker to port for various reasons. It will be one of the last mods I port over because of the sheer amount of unique textures, not to mention all the new material files that will be needed for their eye glows in WH3.

Hey man, not sure if you are still around here but will there be a WH3 port? I love how this makes the beast men look. As I understand it they changed something about textures so it might not be a simple port so I understand if you can't take the time out. Thanks anyway!

Depends on what you want. Just subscribe and you'll get the majority of the mod. The packs are for other options, or a Taurox specific fix that makes it so his Gorebulls don't show up all messed up.

Did you unsubscribe from them as well? They may be downloading again if not whenever you boot up the game. No, the movie files are needed for proper game functioning I believe. These video files will be within mod pack files.

@GunKing Yes I am subscribed in two and the one is not in use, I deleted them both from my data folder but it didnt fix it. I will try to find the culprit, I will not give up on your mod easily! And one last thing, are the movie packs video files?

Ah that is a bit tricky. I would just comb through graphical mods and whichever you think might have a video component, I would start there. Are you subscribed to anything by Shawmuscle? That's really the only set of mods I've seen this being an issue for.

You are certain? Shawmuscle's mods have messed with this one the most. Like Majorkill or his Chaos Lord stuff, potentially even his Elven lords but it's usually one of the first two. They don't have to be active to mess things up.

Thank you. This issue has been reported occasionally. You likely have a video file mod (which are always active) somewhere messing things up. Delete it and things will be fine.

Hey @GunKing, I love your mods and this particular is great! One thing though on gor herd there is something wrong with one of the torso models, as it appears black without texture and its missing the wrist guard, making the hand look like it is floating. I checked it without using any mods to be sure for compatibility issues.

Thank you. I'm going to keep them the same, largely because my expertise extends only to the textures themselves. I have virtually no knowledge of modifying or kitbashing for custom models.

do you have any plans to make the bestigor armor closer to vermintide or just keep them the same. because i think the vermintide betigors are way more bulky looking. the base game ones look really cartoony and silly with there goku haircuts.

All good mate im just messing around with different reskins atm instead of actually playing the game lol This is the only one that has such cool eye effects. It work ok alongside hooverics new all in one but any model that hes touched up doesnt get the glow effect.

I do not. I do not think it could be quickly done either off the top of my head, getting such old models to have glowing eyes was very file intensive and time consuming.

If I felt inspired enough to do something radical with large monster units I most assuredly would. Largely though my inspiration comes from other Warhammer media or tabletop color schemes. That being said you've somewhat inspired me. Maybe when I do the Immersive Vampire Reskin again for WH3 in 4K (with proper glowing red eyes for ALL vampires) I'll do something interesting for the Vargheist RoR.

Hey again any chance you might make a vampire counts reskin? What most reskins dont do but yours does is edit the large monster units and ive yet to find a VC mod that does this. I would love to see your take on vargheist's. :)

Sounds like a mod conflict issue. There was a guy earlier who had a similar problem. Shawmuscle's Chaos Lord or Majorkill mods were the likely culprit, according to the one who had the issue previously.

Hey GunKing, I'm not sure if it is a known issue or something I've done but I am using the submod where only the eyes should be affected and I still get a problem where sometimes pieces of the arms are missing or the skin is all black. It is largely affecting Gor units from what I can tell.

Thanks. The new patch has made things darker all around but just for Beastmen on many maps, I've read about your very same issue elsewhere. It's some sort of bug. My only advice is to lighten your gamma settings or maybe play with a Reshade setting that lightens things up.

Great mod! The only thing i would say is the black needs to be toned down a little atm its so black that you cant see any texture detail. Is there any to lighten it just a tad?

For those of you playing Taurox, the Gorebull likely has a mismatched head. This sub-mod fixes that and smooths out some of his minotaurs. ONLY ACTIVATE WHILE PLAYING AS TAUROX:

It is a very crude solution but the only one I know for now as I don't know source of the Gorebull's redness in the files. Now I will finally be able to play the game.

And also redoing all the .wsmodel and material files for the newly colored heads. It took me 3 hours just to do the handful of units we got in the DLC, so I'm not doing a whole faction again.

That would entail redoing all the tattoos for the baseline troops on the new red skin textures. So no, I'm not interested in doing that, this late into WH2's lifespan. If anyone else wants to do that and do a sub-mod, I welcome them to it.

Hello everyone. The mod has been updated, you can see a preview of the new altered units in the preview wheel, third cell in. But for the Ghorgon ROR, Taurox's red hued Beastmen are not present in this reskin.

Ah well done! I was just about to reply but you got it covered.

As for the other minotaur varieties you are quite correct with the lighting and visibility of the mismatches. I play with ReShade on along with other different lighting mods so the discrepancies aren't imminently obvious in gameplay, which is also in part why I've been slow to move on fixing something that 1) needs a lot of work to get right and 2) not that noticeable to begin with.
