While implementing this area into my current project crossed my mind, it would be difficult to implement properly due to the difference in cell size between this terrain and the terrain I’m currently working on. I might consider returning to this terrain and touching up few places, adding more detail, etc, if one day I happen to be bored and drunk enough.

However once I release my current project I’ll be moving onto Arma Reforger. It should be easier to implement this area into another terrain in that game and should also allow for quite believable underground areas. If someone takes the time and makes objects for those underground bunkers. Which seems to be easier with the new tools.

Hello again, Brewer. I have written a comment once, but that was quite a long time ago. I support the previous request about finishing this amazing project of yours. I am not going to give up until I see it done because I really like it and appreciate your great work on it. You can either finish this small map with more assets around the main base, or just place the entire base on a different map created by you. You can add more vegetation, plants, trees etc. on a bigger scale so we could have a finished map, but in that case you'll need to create at least one more or several more points of interest so that people create scenarios. Tell me about your thoughts and expectations about the future of the project, please, and make us happy in the new year!

Shame this map never got a proper update- although small, has a lot of detail to it- furnished.
Hopefully you're still working on terrains- would be interesting to see what you could make of a larger terrain.

I gotta say... one of the best detailed maps I ever seen. It looks so natural that one could say real humans live in it. I wish you kept updating this map and build more settlements. But I guess you have better projects in mind.. congrats man

Terrain Builder and Terrain Processor. GIMP for the textures and Plopper for some parts of the surface mask texture. Some objects were placed down in Eden editor, but vast majority in Buldozer.

That's not how maps work. You need to create a scenario in the ingame editor for that.

Really well executed map! Making a small but dense map is a good way out of performance limitation of the engine. Fun to play 3-way team vs team fights on this, where you can't quickly see players 300 meters away.

If I could be allowed to be *constructively* critical: the environmental noises (seagulls, waves) seem to be for a beach region. Changing that part of the config would improve immersion, I think.

I might rework the satellite texture, make the area outside of the base more interesting. I don't plan on changing the water lever. I might change the heightmap outside of the base while reworking the satellite texture.

I might update the objects to be closer to reality, should new sctructures be created IRL in the base. That would be more adding than removing though. Should that happen I'll likely make a legacy version of this terrain in order not to break someone's scenarios.

However I have other plans at the moment as I try to focus on different addons.

Quality of this map is awesome. The map generally really well made and realistic. If this is only the map that came up from your learning, I'm really looking forward to your next maps. Gonna be great. Long live BRF.

I actually dig on the idea of small bite-sized maps for scenarios (Zeus GM here). All looks very well done, though I am not a big fan of substituting the concrete road with objects. Don't know the pain of Arma Terrain though so keep at it! We need more terrain options out there!
