"Open the ini file (with Notepad for example) & the just have to find the right command line & then just change the value there. Should be simple like that. I just installed the SE yesterday so haven't got time yet to check out."

"The only 3 settings that works are inside skyrim.ini under [Display] :

fDefault1stPersonFOV=
fDefaultFOV=
fDefaultWorldFOV=

All the other fov settings are useless."

This mod is quite uneccesairy, i remember just changing one word in a text file that did exactly what this mod does.

I see that some of the last people are frustrated and I get it. It doesn't work anymore, but a year ago it did. If someone can let me know how to get it to work again that would be great.

How do you open up the settings?
Madgod 6 Aug, 2017 @ 9:17am
Solution for people having issues with this Mod, since the developer seems to be non-responsive.
You can open up the console (~) and type in "fov 90", but this will be reset when you sprint (AFAIK). In order to circumvent this, go to your "Documents\My Games\Skyrim" directory, and add to the bottom of the [General] section in the Skyrim.ini file, "fdefaultfov=90", or your desired value.

I too am having issues with this mod.

Why do so many games have the FOV set so low?
bloddon0 30 Oct, 2016 @ 1:05pm
Screwed everything up, made fov stupidly low and I could see right through the map. Just type it in to the console instead.

Perfect mod. Thx.
DinkyKung64 25 Apr, 2015 @ 3:27pm
I installed skse, but this mod wont work for me, it screwes everything up. it seems to make my fov really low and it makes it so i cant see anything, and I believe I can see through the map. if I don't get a fix for this guess I gotta just use the console here and there...
LOPTR 27 Jan, 2015 @ 7:46pm
90 is a bit too low for me.

I usually play on 110, but nonetheless this mod is pretty handy.
Jimothy 23 Jan, 2015 @ 5:56am
Perfect, thank you so much!
karl 26 Jul, 2014 @ 7:53pm
will this work with the normal launcher? instead of the SKSE one?
TheBlackMetalCat 25 Jul, 2014 @ 10:50pm

JOHN HALO 22 Jul, 2014 @ 6:58pm

I can highly recommend a FOV of 80, you get a good amount of vision and the graphics look great as well.
Sam Suphit 22 Feb, 2014 @ 3:33pm

Yes, a FOV of 90 does give you better peripheral vision...but when turning to the right or left it looks like the graphics are being shown on a very small cylinder--which is one reason why a like the range to be somewhere between 60 and 70 ... you get less peripheral view but when turning/looking left/right you don't get distorted graphics.
