I write here the easy solution to remove the "added" trees which are not real forests, since many others asked for:



-Open it with Pack File Manager

-Delete the "grass" folder.

This is excellent, however I don't really like that it adds trees to areas that just had shrubbery before. I wouldn't mind a couple lone trees being added, but it's nearly just as thick as the actual forested areas. Makes it harder to see at a glance what the actual terrain is for gameplay purposes.

@Mazisky Hey I had an idea for another cosmetic mod that'd be more relevant to your darker water re-texture. Not sure if you'd be interested or not but on the vanilla campaign map when there's a storm going on in one of the oceans, it adds all sorts of effects like wind, typhoons and clouds but it also adds small waves/ripples in the water to make the ocean look more choppy. It looks really good tbh. I wondered if there's a way to make just that wave effect the new default, present at all times on all the oceans. I think it'd add that extra little bit of detail to the water graphics if its something you think you could do.

would you ever consider a version that changes the south? It would be cool to see the badlands regrown and cleared of fungi if colonised by different factions for example! Love the mod regardless.

Used this for my first Durthu playthrough and found it visually appealing but negatively affects gameplay. With this mod it's very difficult to tell what is passable terrain and what isn't. Frequently small areas of woodland are actually grassland, making it hard to ambush and navigate, especially around Ulthuan and Laurelorn. Great mod for aesthetes, not recommended for ambushing

@huynhphuongtubdOOO you must be new here. Most graphical mods do not need to be updated to work just fine. Only if CA touches the visuals being modded does it need an update and that is not often.

Not out of date and works just fine as far as I can determine. Thanks for this mod. I recommend this version for anything less than a RTX 3080 if playing on 1440p or more.

I actually prefer this version, aesthetically, at least for now. The other version uses better models but things are more sparse. The higher density on the "lite" version looks better, in my opinion.

Both are a major improvement over the vanilla map. Thanks for this!
