Heheh, seriously though, I designed this level while assuming players are familiar with Crystal Caves already – It's meant to give a fair challenge, on par with the original game, without being impossible. But I added a hint section to the description for those who get stuck.
If it helps, the elevator at the start (spoilers) is intended to assist your progress up through the glass block section, and get you to the blue “STOP” platform. You don't actually need to wait for it to cross the gap: The horizontal elevator is linked to the laser guns, and can be positioned in the middle by turning its switch on and off, until its centred, then can be used to jump the gap while it's off.
The only thing what f**ks me up is this elevator at the start!
I think the waiting time is a bit to much!
