This mod makes walking on planet experience way worse. When you are walking you feel like glitching to ground.

Hey mate,

I think I might have figured out what's messin' with this mod.

Whenever I use this, the angular dampening mod ceases to work. looks like this somehow conflicts with the angular momentum mod. Like, they need to both operate at the same time. That might be what causes the bouncing and all that?

Welp, Keen didn't fixed the issue for recent days. Maybe it's time to get some filth on hands and find a fix to issue? :)

@Jamac @CrimsonPanda

Thank you, I appreciate both your efforts. Its good to know that Keen is aware of the problem now.
All thats left is to keep our fingers crossed.

No worries man your mod was incredible while it lasted. Thanks for adding to the bug report also. It would appear my understanding of the issue was quite primitive 😂. Hopefully with that info they can find and implement a permanent fix.

I did some experimenting the other day to try and fix that weird bouncing issue, to no avail. I think I'm going to just abandon this mod and hope for a bug-fix from keen.

I've actually made a bug report on the kenswh website and I get the impression nobody has reported it before. https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/pc/topic/rotating-grid-sliding
I've been just too busy with life to look into it myself but it sounds like we might be able to hope for an in-game fix.

@Jamac @CrimsonPanda So i've seen the update to your description, does this mean a permanent hiatus or has any progress been made?

I actually asked Xocliw about this recently but i'm not sure he understood how I was trying to explain it.

Ah no worries. I'll see if i can poke around a bit and find the issue also got exams coming up though. 😂

@CrimsonPanda @Haven Alright, thanks for the heads up, I'll see if I can fix it. But it will probably have to wait a bit, cause I have finals coming up.

I'm currently getting the same issue as Haven in terms of the jumping bug. Character seems to permanently jump in place when on a spinning grid. Its a shame this was exactly what i've been looking for

Sorry for accusing your mod of causing the problems(and taking so long to say it), I still don't know exactly whats wrong as the issue comes and goes. I believed your mod was responsible since it seemed the issue only arose on a freshly installed space engineers after I had run a game using your mod (even after it had been removed from the mod queue). Since then though I have had the issue with absolutely NO mods installed from a newly downloaded copy (not backed up) while not even subscribed to your mod and the appdata folder completely erased. So I can safely say you are right, it is most definitely not your mod causing problems.

That being said the warfare update seems to have caused a bug since this new problem started after the update download.

my engineer is jumping rapidly in one place when standing on a rotating grid. I tried with and without this mod installed on a otherwise modless world so I don't think i'm making a mistake this time.

@Haven Thanks for the response! But, since you said the issue persists even when you aren't using the mod, it's more likely the issue you're having isn't related to this mod. There's no way it should be able to affect anything when the mod isn't active on the world you're playing on. But if there is something that happens specifically when this mod is active, then dm me about it and I can try to figure it out.

I may have found a bug. It seems after restarting my computer Space Engineers ran into considerable performance issues with sim speeds permanently at .50 or lower.

I thought it could be an issue with what was in my world but after starting a vanilla empty world but still experienced the issue.

Next I went to appdata and backed-up and renamed the folder so Space Engineers could make a new one. This actually did improve the UPS and Sim Speed but I was still experiencing a minor stutter that was really only noticable when you where moving.

I uninstalled removed the appdata folder and installed fresh from a download (then backed the fresh copy up) that seemed to fix it, and after restarting my computer the issue did not arise again.

Unfortunately when I re-enabled my mods and restarted the computer the microstutters had returned, though not the sim speed halving.
