Can I ask why the original mod is around 32 MB and thi mod is 550MB?

I spent a lot of time with it and the original Azuchi armor mod. Now I decided to go back to the game and checked the mod list, decided to remove the original mod and saw that this mod indicated the need to subscribe to the original armor. Is it possible to use only this mod? Will this not cause an error and will the armor appear in the game?
I would really like to have only armor close to the vanilla samurai

will random NPCs wear this armor??? I thought it was only available in craft

Would a version or patch where it's just a blue print or shop item be possible? The armor spawning on UC guards leads to conflicts with other mods :(

Does the armor have a colormap? Would look really good on this armor, I can make one for you if I get some time over.

I've made a note, at some point I'll do a round of fixes and updates to my mods. At the moment I've changed pc and don't have my modding files moved over yet.

In the mean time the character lore will have to be the 'coloured' metal alloy is not quite as acid resistant as they hoped!

Hello. The colored skeleton doesn't have acid protection. If it's not to much to ask, could you do an update that fix it?

That's is exactly what this mod does, 卵焼き. This substitutes the looks of the Azuchi Armor to be more kenshi like.

Hi I'm not subscribed to this mod but when I try to make Azuchi armor it turns out like this mod. Is there a reason for that? I may have subscribed some time in the past and unsubbed.

@Uchida You forgot two .psd files in the mod, measuring about 500mb of space.

The companion added by this mod is vulnerable to acid rain, and possibly other environmental effects.

TheAshby, that is a nice idea but because I collaged the texture from existing in-game textures I think it will be hard to create the corresponding colour maps that are needed for color schemes. Something that I will look into again when I get the time.

Dr.Macari, I got a comment from Atlas who is involved with Genesis awhile back and he told that this mod had been included. Maybe they have since removed it? Not sure I don't follow that mods development. @MeowKitty, check a couple comments bellow, cut efficientcy was added as requested (another patch mod ;) )

so by removing cut efficiency you make this armor entirely impossible to use for anyone who wants to play as vanilla as possible thus defeating mostly the entire purpose of this re-skin. I'd love to use this but cut efficiency is in the game for a reason and removing it makes this armor different than every other armor in the game.

thank you for this amazing retexture! I've always loved the azuchi armor but it didn't really fit in with the gritty and iron world of Kenshi, I really enjoy mods like this that are vanilla-friendly as possible. Would you consider doing a retexture of the Hi-Kers backpack mod?

Levanter, I'm not sure I've never looked at the Living World mod. If the original Azuchi armour mod works with Living Worlds then this patch should too!

Mahatmadandy, Yep that's the way my patches work they supersede the original mod. It can be done but unfortunately I'm taking a break from modding, as I currently don't have a job and need to focus on other priorities. If you are very keen I'm sure you could work it out by playing with the FCS and asking around on the Kenshi Discords modding section for help. Glad you enjoy the mod!

MrTarantoga, no outside links but you should be able to download the mod file from steam regardless and move it into your kenshi mod folder inside programme files.

If you know where your downloaded files are you can copy them as above into the mod folder.

Alternatively try searching on google how to download steam mod files without using steam and you should be able to find some websites where you can copy the steam mod url in and get the file as a direct download.

The benefit of getting them directly off steam means as I update my mod you automatically get the updates! You might want to look at how to change your steam download preferences to get the mods installed directly onto your pc.

Any outside link for download? Im recently suffering from internet shortages and steam being Steam saves my mods in cloud, making Kenshi unplayable offline because vanilla prices are unbalanced and attack moves are boring

Zimba, i agree it's more vanilla friendly than most mods, i'm just incorrigibly picky about this sort of stuff. basically i think:
1) plates could be lightened a bit so they're more similar to other vanilla armor
2) slightly more detail added to bands around midriff and forearms (is it fabric? leather? etc.)
3) color of tunic adjusted to match other changes
in any case, i'll be happy with whatever you decide to put out. happy holidays

Hi Fossil, Glad you are enjoying the patches! I don't currently have a list of armours although a lose idea of perhaps doing some clothing items next. Surprised you feel that the Ashigaru armour needs a patch I thought it was quite vanilla friendly already. What do you think could be improved about it?

Qyrtyma, I tried to match the dark version of the armour to the Holy chestplate other vanilla dark metal armours I will revisit the tones as I think you are right it could be slightly darker.

-Genesis Overhaul Mod, is not compatible without the following add-on !Do not subscribe to this mod if you are using Genesis subscribe to the add-on instead! It is also recommend to have the load order as follows: Azuchi Armour Mod followed by Genesis followed by the Genesis Version

Hey Zimba, If you don't mind could we eliminate the need for a patch and add this directly to genesis? We've edited and changed how the azuchi mod itself is arranged in the genesis mod and i fear this may cause duplication issues. I'm sure that i messaged you on discord, if i got the wrong person would you mind messaging me? @atlas#8060? Obviously credits given and if you want i could add you as a contributor to Genesis itself.

Hey man, I'm really, really loving this series of patches you've put out recently. I'm putting together a personal armor/weapon overhaul for my next run and your Nomad Cloak and Azuchi patches will be popping up all over the world of Kenshi. If you don't mind me asking, do you have a list of armors you're going through? Would you mind sharing it? (To be blunt, I'm hoping for an eventual Ashigaru armor "vanillafication," but I'm curious about what other stuff you have in the works, too.)
