I'm surprised it can go onto the same panel but I didn't really look into it
and is it really a problem if something is done similarly elsewhere? It seems like that version has enough differences to be unique from this
1) green tiles can appear on the enemy side
2) if you can corner it, it can keep going on the same panel for easy weapon activation
3) Exodus - Content & Rebalance pack has a similar weapon on Violette but it triggers 1 homing projectile per "step", gives flow per 4 steps instead of the attack (which ties into the theme of that loadout)
ALSO it has too many spells with a high cost and very slow mana regen
