@Lady Broxxie That is actually a miniature model made strictly for background pictures :)

also I'd love to know what that ship is in the 1st and 9th pics

@MauveTheWolf Thank You, I'll have a look at Jerryfanfan's vtol chassis and look for some inspiration in Simon's works
MauveTheWolf  [author] 16 Jun, 2022 @ 11:54pm
Start medium or small before trying a big one, going straight for a huge version can be difficult without knowing how to tune the vtol system.
MauveTheWolf  [author] 16 Jun, 2022 @ 11:52pm
@Yeah most of my builds are very taxing on the fps. As per building one, I use Jerry's vtol chassis for each of them to fly, as seen here:

Its been a while since ive built one ofc so I dont know too much to say. Plus mine fly horribly since I never learned to properly tune it all lol :) Just look through simon's pictures for inspriation n such.

@MauveTheWolf Is it really? Thats amazing! I just went through all of your creations and they are so good, I'm afraid that most of the environment mods that you have made are too large and detailed for my laptop, but I downloaded the sunken town one because it just looks epic I made get a couple more because they are so cool. Also I was wondering if you have any tips for builidng those floating ships, I've tried to beuild things before but I can never get the hang of it.
MauveTheWolf  [author] 16 Jun, 2022 @ 7:23pm
@Oberleutnant_Heinz Yeah id seen them post in the official discord as well, im really happy to see their creation. The van in their workshop photos is actually a recolored version of my old creation too :)
Oberleutnant_Heinz 16 Jun, 2022 @ 12:13pm
@MauveTheWolf It definitely is really nice to see that. Yeah, I'm glad to see you're interested in it too. You may have seen but recently someone's works, I believe his name is BENZIN, was up on the most popular page thing. With his Loop-14 magnetrine ship, so me and you aren't the only ones. And maybe you could use his same technique with the magnetrine discs, just a suggestion though.

Glad to see that somebody else is getting into Simon's works though. They have been and still are my favorite artist and inspiration, seeing them get the attention they deserve is really nice.
MauveTheWolf  [author] 16 Jun, 2022 @ 8:27am
@Oberleutnant_Heinz I heavily doupt that it will be finished, especially since it is no longer up to date with my current build standards. If it was to be redone it would be fully rebuilt. Along with this, I would want it to fly better as currently it wobbles like the other callsign vehicles. That would take quite a bit of time for me to figure out.
Oberleutnant_Heinz 16 Jun, 2022 @ 7:41am
@MauveTheWolf That looks epic! Do you think you'll finish it? Because it would be so cool to fly that around. I've recently started getting interested in Simon Stalenhag's works again, and I would love to see more of creations like these on the workshop. Also thanks for the screenshot
MauveTheWolf  [author] 15 Jun, 2022 @ 2:25pm
If anything its just become a funny personal vehicle to bring out on servers to fly around.
MauveTheWolf  [author] 15 Jun, 2022 @ 2:24pm
@Oberleutnant_Heinz What you most likely see is a scale model of the vehicle, present in photos 1 and 9. Ive just posted a screenshot of the vehicles for you below :)

@MauveTheWolf Is that the vehicle I can see in a couple of the photos? This is to your comment replying to falloutcat, I know it was a while ago but you know
MauveTheWolf  [author] 11 Mar, 2021 @ 12:13pm
@falloutcat

I had a large vehicle in the works that would be the next callsign vehicle. However, I really lost motivstion for it. It is almost complete but I just need to find the motivation to finish it lol
falloutcat 11 Mar, 2021 @ 12:02pm
I like this work will there be more Simon stalenhag vehicle's?

@2055 Quadra Type-66 Lols ye- I think its the xml sonars that kinda throw the scale off :P (Thank ye too lol)
Quadra 17 Dec, 2020 @ 1:16pm
Wow, the scale breaks my brain, it looks like it would be about the size of a small van, but them you see the images of it dwarfing that shipping container, awesome creation!
CoolG2007 12 Dec, 2020 @ 2:00am
Thanks! @MauveTheWolf
Mackenzie 9 Dec, 2020 @ 8:21pm
Stalenhag cool
MauveTheWolf  [author] 7 Dec, 2020 @ 4:27am
@CoolG2007 My only pieces of advice are to use Jerryfanfan's vtol chassis and make sure you know what you want to build. The chassis is really easy to use and does not take up too much space, allowing for neat creations. I normally have a picture (or several) on google for what im working on to get ideas and stuff from which really helps too.
CoolG2007 6 Dec, 2020 @ 9:22am
This is really amazing. I've always been wanting to do a futuristic build in stormworks, do you have any advice? Gonna drop this an award too.
MauveTheWolf  [author] 5 Dec, 2020 @ 11:44pm
@Den Shamanoff yee lol
Den Shamanoff 5 Dec, 2020 @ 10:26pm
@MauveTheWolf I agree that Simon's style is best suited to the Stormworks universe. Despite the fact that the game takes place in 2032, the entire environment looks as if the WW2 has just ended :steamhappy:
MauveTheWolf  [author] 5 Dec, 2020 @ 10:16pm
@razoviere Their art is the best lol
IncoNickuous 5 Dec, 2020 @ 9:48pm
A ship inspired by Simon Stalenhag?! Impossible
MauveTheWolf  [author] 5 Dec, 2020 @ 5:53pm
@Den Shamanoff Im a bit confused about the question. Like.. their style or the general concept? The reason why I love Simon's style so much is that there is bits of realism mixed in with it and the sci-fi items are mixed with normal world scenes. Cyberpunk may look pretty at night, but the actual physics and such behind how things operate seems a bit lacking (I have no background on it tho so its a bias opinion). Simon has explained a lot on how some of the ships operate and how things work. Cyber/sci-fi concepts in general area really cool, but I just vibe with sci-fi that mixes with 80s vehicles and landscapes lol.
Den Shamanoff 5 Dec, 2020 @ 5:19pm
And what do u think about real sci-fi environment, like cyberpunk 2077 or blade runner style?
Den Shamanoff 5 Dec, 2020 @ 5:15pm
I like your own style, can't confuse it with anyone else. Well done!
MauveTheWolf  [author] 5 Dec, 2020 @ 2:23pm
@vibe dog Most of what you see in the inages are a few of my enrionment mods combined into one tile. They dont appear in the normal stormworks world.
MauveTheWolf  [author] 5 Dec, 2020 @ 2:22pm
@QuestionablePerson That.. I meen whatever works lol!
Jelly 5 Dec, 2020 @ 2:13pm
where is that place
