Don't be surprised if this doesn't get updated, the planet selection feature is broken and the modder is M.I.A.

Worldbuilder will hopefully succeed this mod eventually.

I will wait patiently for this mod to be updated. I will just say that I made extensive use of this mod and I really loved making my own maps.

Just a PSA, the river and road editor seem to only work on tiles which have roads naturally generate on them. Ex. No roads on sea ice or certain modded biomes

I made a patch which sorts the biome list alphabetically in the Tile Editor if anyone wants it:

In my opinion it's cool but it would be better if you could better choose which factions you want to appear on the map. The first time I played a custom map choosing the factions was a disaster and it's not very understandable.

I accidentally pressed 'set average temperature to whole map' button and saved the game. Is there any way to reset the average temperature of each tiles?

UPDATE: for anyone experiencing the template issue (i'm not sure if its a mod conflict or an issue with this mod), you can use World Presets {LINK REMOVED} to do the same thing.

just make sure you put it ABOVE worldedit in your load order (and in my case above most other mods, it causes a good amount of conflicts), and then you can use that to save worlds instead.

I have found the Ludeon studio it was really hard to find and the template files are in a save folder in config but I still can't access them in game.

Also Dev if you see this could you make it if you make a settlement for a faction you could be able to randomize it name. Because when you place a settlement, it starts with a random faction & the faction random settlement name so when you change it to the faction you want you are stuck with the odd random faction settlement name before you place it. Making a world worth of settlements you don't want to name all of them.

Some reason saving a template is not working. When I do f11 and put in name, author, description
then save, it kicks me into Template loader with only the normal pre-generated world as a option and a string of words saying it saved at a file "Ludeon studios", that as far as I know and I have looked for it in my computer, not a thing. After that the Debug log pops up saying this "System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
[Ref 4EB35649]" or "Exception while saving Verse.Game: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
[Ref B78E6CB1] Duplicate stacktrace, see ref for original" ether one of them pop up when I tried testing the save after I tried to save my 3 hour map I worked on just in case if something happened to ruin it. :C

Mod works fine for me, however I noticed if the river has 2 sources (ex; river going from a lake to an ocean) seems to break tile generation even if you only designate one of them as a source. It seems rivers have wither out into nothingness for them to generate on tiles

I am also having the same issue as @FIREcarnation
I have tried picking my spawn location, saving while on the glitched black screen, then reloaded with world edit disabled. That seemed to work for others in the past but it did not help me.

I hope this is fixed soon, because I was opening up a rimworld together server using the earth map, but I can't do that if the map is broken.

I can get the earth map to load with all my mods, pick a starting location, but when the colony loads it's just a black screen. Pawns moving around and I see events popping up, but I can't see any terrain. Disabled all mods but world edit and earth map but it's the same situation. Anybody got a fix?

Using the Feature Editor, I can't create a new feature in some places. I have a biome I am trying to name, but when I click "Create World Feature" and click ANY tile in the biome, it simply selects the tile as if I wanted to set my colony there rather than popping up the window to name the feature. Is there some limit of how close other features can be, causing the nearby features to "block" the tiles in this biome from allowing me to set a new feature there?

Would it be possible to rework the template select screen and making it compatible with Progression Storyteller's by Ferny? Currently it is impossible to load a world preset like Terraformed Mars or Earth, due to it giving and the error: "Error while loading a map" and sending me back to the main menu.

nvm, think is a bug for using flat terrain, layer it as a hill and the problem is fixed.
