The controls should be on toolbar 5 of the cockpit of all trucks with a tow hitch:

Toolbar 5
1. PB Trailer Manager "up"
2. PB Trailer Manager "down"
3. PB Trailer Manager "apply"
4. PB Trailer Manager "back"

But by default all programmable blocks on all my designs are turned off (so they don't interfere with each other during printing, and so that scripts that you're not using don't take up processing power).

So if it is not responding, find the block in the terminal labelled "PB Trailer Manager" and amke sure it's on.

Since i have you here.. how do I navigate through the menus in the cockpit to configure the trailers?

Awesome! glad you got them to work :steamhappy:

Yeah building the hinge-part onto the trailer's hinge-part (which now I can see in the screenshot you sent) did the trick. Excited to play around with trailers now!

No worries, you can leave them if you like, did that fix the issue?

Thanks for your help. Removing my messages so I don't clutter your comments.

You can't do it through the terminal, just place the extra hinge head manually, like you would for any other block
Thad Jarvis 23 Dec, 2021 @ 12:10pm
I had no idea you could add "hinge part" to another hinge part.. That's probably it let me try again
Spite  [author] 23 Dec, 2021 @ 11:59am
No extra hinge, just an extra hinge head, so you had it mostly right.

1. print truck, remove hinge head from the "tow hitch hinge".

2. print trailer, and place an extra hinge head onto the hinge at the front, like in this pic:

3. Line up the empty hinge at the rear of the truck with the extra hinge head on the trailer, and hit "attach"

Hmm ok, so its sounds like you did what you needed to, so it should have worked, as long as the hinge head you added was the right orientation, so it must have been Clang? 🤔

Still, I'll put together a guide (video if I can) and add it to all the vehicles & trailers workshop pages.

Then, to be able to attach the trailer to the tow hitch on the vehicle, you have to remove the extra hinge head that appears there when you build it (I couldn't tell from the screenshots if you had already done that part, so sorry if I'm telling you something you figured out already).

I think I need to do a video guide at some point for all this, sorry if the lack of explanation is what caused the trouble!

Ahh I think I might know what is going on, and its my mistake for not including proper instructions.

So projectors don't include sub grids, but they also add heads to rotors and hinges, even if they were not there on the blueprint.

To allow trailers to articulate horizontally and vertically, I made the designs so that after printing the trailer, you need to add an additional hinge head on to the hinge at the front, orientated as shown in this image:

I'm glad you got it sorted, but could you show me a screenshot of the hinge that was causing trouble?
Spite  [author] 21 Dec, 2021 @ 8:55pm
Hmmm, it should just be a matter of lining up the hinges and telling them to "attach".

I have heard of Clang happening once in a while, but never as bad as what you're describing.
I can put a something together tonight to show you how I have been doing it, but that may not solve your problem.

Are you playing on singleplayer, on with someone else hosting or on a dedicated server?

Hi Lunacity, thanks. Glad you like them!

Heavy trucks are on the to build list, I just like to build smallest first, then go bigger.
Lunacity 16 Jan, 2021 @ 9:30pm
I absolutely love your ISL collection!, But Why is there no Heavy Trucks?. I love the fact that i can stack the trailers, but even the strongest of the medium trucks isnt enough for my 10x trailers XD
Spite  [author] 11 Dec, 2020 @ 10:53am
Thanks, and that is one ambitious project you had going there, I hope you get to finish it!

These new additions are fantastic. I was working on a large grid setup similar to this that would hook up with the Hercules and using the Hercules frame to make a mobile power plant and refinery but then my hard disc died on monday and I lost all of what I was working on.
