I'm not sure if this is possible but if you can limit the income for this building per sector then it could limit building multiples in the same sector.
those 3 mods released by you are definitly the same type of mods. People can choose which factories they want to use. At least you can throw equipment dock and casino into 1 mod. I am not so sure about player owned ressource depots since they are effectively used already to generate money by selling mined ressources to it.
I agree though that balance should still be important. Remember players can build infinite factories ( in singleplayer at least ) which means for the casino either it is worth its money and ressources to build it or players won't bother at all even if it generates money. Thats why I said double the cost and half the income of highest tier factories is reasonable for highest tier casino as they dont require additional fiddling with goods. Make sure to give those stations a negative effect when building more than one in a sector. I can see this mod quickly gaining popularity as it is already =)
- casinos should come in 3 different tiers ( either directly constructable tiers or upgrdable, whatever you wish for)
- I don't know how much profit the make. Though it would be reasonable if the income of the highest tier casino would be really good and therefor its cost to build bumped up as well
- I would guess somewhere half way of the income from the best facotories with double the price since they dont need to be maintained at all [build and leave it alone for profit]
Also I think that your other mods for income on the equipment dock and the other station that I dont remember should be similar. You could even see those 3 stations as the tiers which I was talking about.
