Hey, thank you for your nice creation, i believe there is a Problem with the auto clutch its clicking the whole time and the boat isnt getting faster than 18 knots

You might just have a shitty PC, or you just have something called a "Skill Issue." It runs fine for me.

While the idea about the rear gate is funny, the physics absolutely bug the ship. I wanted to get up on the deck and somehow managed to launch myself 30m away from the ship while also flipping the ship itself upside down and almost instantly killing the 8 survivors that I had on board. 1/10 would not recommend this ship.

This is AMAZING! Thank You! Could you maybe add a medium and large career boat to work towards in career mode?

hello!
Can you update the vehicle with the new gearboxes, please?
Thank you!

You have an interesting issue you may want to look into fixing.
When idling in this boat, you are draining the batteries, you have to be moving forwards to run the generator, so if you are stationary the boat will drain its battery.
Recommend moving the alternators on the other side of the clutch.

Haven't run it thru all its paces with missions yet but this boat so far is my top choice. While I would have liked a bit more speed and larger map, this vessel is very roomy for a starter area ship. I really loved the tuck away benches and extra fold out bed.

Also the separate stations are nice but for me, playing SP just means a bit more jogging around for certain circumstances.

Am I able to carry jet fuel in the tanks to save up for a tanker?

@Slartibartfast I "phased" through the gate at the back once while trying to load a NPC from the sea. The boat immediately capsized. I ended up removing the rear gate and haven't had any issues since.

@Slartibartfast Good suggestion, I actually from recent experience learned how to best place winches for towing and I moved it forward to the bridge.
Slartibartfast 5 Feb, 2021 @ 2:26pm
Thanks @jyochi. One other peculiarity I encountered that could be related to the bug or maybe the design. I was towing another large boat using the winch in fairly heavy seas at about 60% throttle and without much notice I capsized. After recovering from a save I added a rope anchor down at the deck level and completed the mission without capsizing. Moving the winch onto the deck might be a nice improvement.

@gdetto @Jon Grayson thanks! Hope you're enjoying SW.

@Slarti I've never run into that issue with my boat, but I have an inkling of the bug you're encountering. I think that's just NPCs being weird with physics sometimes. Also, apparently our characters weigh 800 mass. Sorry to hear you're experiencing that.

So...does this boat capsize when you climb on the back? Has happened twice in 2 attempted rescues now. Never happens at the pier, only when I'm about to load survivors. Am playing in career mode. Any suggestions?

I don't know how people are this talented but this ship makes early game fun. Time to check out your other ships you've got!

Oh cool thanks

Heaters are automatic and will activate when temperature is below 5 degrees C
Cybeast 21 Dec, 2020 @ 1:56pm
How you turn on the heater?
Jyochi  [author] 18 Dec, 2020 @ 4:48pm
No problem! Hope you like it :)
Salad35 18 Dec, 2020 @ 4:04pm
Oh, okay then. Thanks for telling me! I am going to use this creation today for career mode!
Jyochi  [author] 17 Dec, 2020 @ 10:49pm
You can charge the batteries by idling the boat, aka disabling the clutch and increasing throttle. Unfortunately due to costs, both boats only use 3-4 small generators, meaning it'll take some time to charge. Remember you can also use the backup battery
Salad35 17 Dec, 2020 @ 10:10pm
So one both of the career boats can you make it so that when the engine is on it charges the battery? Just so we don't have to be moving to do so.
