I love these scripts, but I'm having some trouble with the Event Tuning? Offset, shake, and slide don't seem to work for some reason. At best, slide starts up the walking animation on a sprite that can walk, but nothing happens. I'd really like to use the offset to make my maps feel more natural. Any idea what's not working?

Hey Vlue. Thank you much for the scripts, they are awesome! I do have one question though. I love the Basic Combo Script but I was wondering... is there a way to make both the characters step forward when using a combo skill? I am currently using MOGs Sprite Actors. When the characters use a combo skill, only the initiator steps forward.

I'm not sure of any scripts that work quite like SimCity (I also only really know of my own scripts tho so, that's not saying much). The only ones of mine that I think could help would be the Copy/Paste Map Data script and Multiple Map Layers, which lets you copy parts of one map to another and have multiple tilesets (in a way). But that wouldn't get you that close since you'd have quite a bit of scripting and eventing to do to get it to work like a city builder. I'm not sure it's something that can be easily done, that's all I can say on the that.

First of all, love your scripts. The Summons/Pets Script you created has been getting a lot of use in one game I'm designing. That being said, I was wondering if you are planning to port that particular script to MV? (Or possibly if you already have done?) Hate to bring up an MV matter in a VX Ace section, but the MV discussions/workshop doesn't seem to be up and running yet.

Probably based on an oversight by me. But that sounds like the error that occurs when you try to open the Crafting window when you don't actually know any recipes (by default no recipes are learned, so you need to learn at least one before opening that window - using the script calls). It's something I keep forgetting to look into.

So, I have one more problem (hopefully the last one). I don`t know how to initialize the Crafting menu with Luna Engine. I know I have to implement it, and I could also add other menus through this method (CP Menu Command Config); however when implementing the Crafting menu, it gives me an RGSS error on line 150 of Basic Recipe Crafting saying "Failed to create Bitmap.". So if you can help me with this one, you`re my hero, because this script and Luna Engine working together is vitally important for my project :D

I imagine a good deal of them are compatble yes. Though some won't allow you to load a save file created before the script was installed (like Adv. Game Time), which might be the cause of your error there. Hopefully.

Are those scripts compatible with Luna Engine? I actually tried copy/pasting the Advanced Game Time script into the Basic Luna project and I get a MethodNotFound-error on line 596. If I`m doing anything wrong please correct me, but otherwise good job and I`m really looking forward to use these scripts.

Quite simple: An example to say check if the current hour is 3 would look like this:
RTime::hour == 3
All the possible checks are explained in the script header and you can work from there~
You can also use (in place of ==) >, <, <=, >=

You're trying to open the crafting menu when you don't know any recipes (it doesn't like that...), try to learn one recipe first ( learn_recipe(id), i.e. learn_recipe(1) via a script call ) and then open the crafting menu.

The Mouse Buttons in Basic Mouse are only visible on the map, not the main menu or any other menu, so I'm not sure what you mean.

The Custom Buttons script has to be my all-time favorite (all through proximity is a close second). Custom Buttons let me set up an overworld "sword" using common events, and I was able to design a Zelda-style battle system, instead of being limited to the traditional Final Fantasy-style. Thank you SO MUCH. :brflash:
