Any chance this and the compatibility patch can be updated? The fact that there's a stun effect in the game means this should be part of the default Rimworld experience. I'll try it out, and see if it works anyway for 1.5, but there's a comment in the compatibility page is saying there's a problem with crafting specific ammunition. It's not like I can learn how to code this myself, or make the artwork, either. I also think getting this working is required before I play the Anomaly DLC.

I miss this mod. I really hope there can be a 1.4 update. Would really make genenapping pawns easier.

I too would like to see an update. Like Trixie Pixie says, The 1.3 weapons will hurt the target but will not take then down.

Is an update for 1.4 forthcoming? The stun rifles still fire but they don't stun, they just p*ss off whatever you are shooting at :)

Updated to replace the successful stun notification with a mote similar to the one upon failure :)

additionally, body size is now factored in, meaning it shouldn't take 5 shots to down a manhunting guinea pig anymore :)

is it possible to disable notification spam of things getting stunned? it's complete mess during combat and makes you miss actually important notifications besides being simply annoying

@pierceyy They shouldn't, as the mod doesn't edit the code of any vanilla or other turrets..My best guess is some sort of incompatibility

Yeah hold on will fix, on a side note about the CE thing I have discovered how to make a working CE patch but just need to separate some files into a separate mod which I could do today tbh

This is very nice! I'm glad I found this.

Still, I'm really looking forward to the Stun Baton you mentioned. (And, hopefully, CE / Combat Extended compatibility, if you can get that sorted out.)

I really feel the need for a melee-type stun weapon that works in 1.3. Unfortunately, there are not many (any?) to choose from.

Can confirm what Black said, turrets didnt open fire and got bashed to trash, all the other weapons work fine though

Just had a prison escape and for some reason the turrets didnt open fire.
Im pretty sure they did in 1.2?

Updated for 1.3, added the stun baton that i've had coded into the mod for the past half year lmao. Will update this mod page to add the stun baton and some info soon I guess, am welcome to suggestions for improvements on the stun baton and its mechanics

Hey there! I really like how this mod handles nonlethal munitions, and was wondering if I could make an "expansion pack" of sorts, just adding an extra menagerie of stunning counterparts to other weapons. Naturally, I'd make sure the add-on requires this one as well, and give you full credit for the stun code.

A lot of the CE patches I see are separate mods, I know a lot of people swear by it but I've not used it before, seems to have a lot of compatibility needs

@Usgiyi @Vazrua Thanks for pointing this out! I'll be working on fixing that in the next update (it doesn't feel like it's been half a year since I published this but I guess it has been lmao), and I'll finally be adding in those stun batons AND HOPEFULLY COMBAT EXTENDED COMPATABILITY

I think you should call the stun club like weapon "Stun Baton" you could even base its aesthetic on the half life one

@Deadbrother I'm not sure if my modding skills are there yet, it is something I will look into for maybe adding by the end of the month, along with a stun club-type weapon that could be used for melee

The mod is super cool, but could we have the option to turn off the notifications ? I have armed some of my pawns with the automatic stun rifle and the sound is making me crazy during raid lmao.
