@patrickhull44 this also crashed a few games of mine, what i did was locating the province the port was in and deleting that task force, worked fine thereafter

This mod is great in that it made the BSR mod actually playable. But about half of the ports are say that they have no access to the sea and this causes the game to crash as the ai tries to use their tasks forces inside of broken ports. The error log shows that this is causing my crashes.

can you rerelease Beautiful States Reborn as its own mod because most modern BSR mods are trash.

@battle royale pro lol - The map will look fine if beautiful states loads after EAI. However, under the surface, EAI is messed up because EAI events are overridden by beautiful states events. If EAI loads after beautiful states you will see what I mean - even the Rhineland focus is messed up. This mod combines the modifications of EAI and beautiful states so that they both work. I hope that makes sense to you.

how are expert ai and beautiful states not compatible? i just started using beautiful states instead of standard world map
havent seen anything notable yet, and i have my normal modslist enabled which has expert ai and everything i used with standard world map too

I'll probably play this game again eventually so an updated version will perhaps come in the future but at the moment I'm not working on it.

@Joseph Stalin - I just don't play hoi4 much anymore and cba. It's not easy to "just update it" like a lot of people are asking because "just updating" means having to redo the entire process that resulted in this version in the first place – merging each file individually between BSR, EAI, and UMC gameplay improvements. If anyone would like to continue this sort of thing feel free, I'll link it in the description.

@Shark Daddy - oops, I read that -20% as 20%! I just pushed out something that should fix the issue. Let me know if it works for you and thank you for bringing that to my attention.

They have an effective total manpower of -20%, which is basically 0 available. The army you start with gets Thanos snapped due to 0% strength, the 10k free manpower is from the garrison updating from compliance. The only manpower you actually have deployed is in the Navy, Airforce and Garrison. That's insane.

@Shark Daddy - I just started a game to test, the U.S. had 10k manpower at the start. Additionally, they should have a very low amount – not only for historical purposes but for balance reasons too.

Is there a version without the UMC "Improvements"? USA has negative manpower at the start of the game. If not, is it enough to simply remove the UMC files or will that break something?

Please update the states to the newest version of HGO lite (bsr but now rebranded).

This mod has very low compatibility with other mods since it replaces many of the game files.

UMC Technology doesn't work

@Sebastian - For France: That is what happened in real life. Free France should still exist... somewhere. The Free France focus tree enables them to take back Vichy colonies. For Japan: having won in China would probably do it. I play with China stalemate on which leads to war between Japan and Allies in late 1941.

Not sure if this was my own fault, but the USA also entered the war in juli 1940 already. But maybe this had to do with Japan having won in China?

Hey, when I conquered france as Germany with historical foci on, I got the vichy event as usual. However, vichy also anexed what would normally be free france in middle africa. France therefore ceased existing. In this intentional or a bug?

@William - Yup, I've had Spotify break it too. I don't know why that happens and I honestly thought it was just me with this issue – I wouldn't be surprised if it is happening to you though.

@William - I have never encountered that problem, although I have had crashes before caused by (strangely) watching YouTube in the background. Did you have something open?

Loving the mod but it's quite unstable, game was running like normal until 1941. Now, when I zoom in on the map, the game immediately crashes. No obvious reason, only other mod used is Player Led Peace Conferences.
