Hey FFFBomb, just stopped by to thank you for this great creation. As someone that's loving the Tournament on snow (and cashing in on gold in every event) it makes me wish that snow was a permanent option in the game. This mod does just that.

PS for others trying this mod: even though there are 8 tracks with snow in them, the mod actually works on every other stock track, minus the snow itself. As in, every track is just as slippery albeit without all the white. You'll still get a snow trail. Think of racing on dirt tracks after a heavy downpour and it's muddy and slippery. Or trying to race on pavement after a freezing rain made it all into an icy death trap. Fun.

Does this simulate what was available in game for Christmas 2018 ?

Understood. BTW, because of the slippery snow physics, and that there are no AWD/4WD vehicles in the game, I combined your mod with GreenYellowOwl's "Drive Train Swapping" mod in order to have some 4-wheel control. It's absolutely brilliant now.

@AlconburyBlues... I added that to the description because I received many messages letting me know that it breaks some of the vanilla tracks surface and turns them in to snow as well.I just wanted to inform everyone that I am aware of that issue is all :) Thank you for the kind words as well! :)

Just a simple question. In the description you say "...I hope you are playing a snow mod..." What do you mean by this?

I can tell you have already added snow effects and winter physics in these tracks. So I am confused by what you mean. You have already made a complete package. Very well done also.

Nothing is going on with my mods. I removed the ones that were broken because I have moved on from modding Wreckfest. I chose to remove these mods because I no longer want to keep up with them. And in regards to you suggesting that someone should share TBSC mod, I give NO permission to do so. The formula car within that mod was stolen from someone and given to me without me knowing. In respect to the original model maker of that car, I removed the mod by choice. There are PLENTY of other mods out there to use by really good mod makers.

I use these mods. It seems that the problem is not constant. I should do more testing.

@Adenru... There are a few servers that have hosted this mod with no problems at all including me. I just tried it via local host as well as dedicated server and everything works as it should. Are you trying to mix this mod with other mods as well? Please let me know!

I try to help. I just switched off all other mod's. only the snow mod, but it stays the same.
your mod is no longer right since the big wreckfest update.

I am not quite sure what is the issue at the moment. All of the settings match the in-game settings so further investigation is needed for sure. Will keep working.

but the snow smoke is still very unrealistic. it is too coarse / heavy and disappears very quickly. with the old version the smoke was very fine. or is it because of an attitude with me?

me again. i have now driven a few laps. the physics is still great! which I don't like so much. the "snow smoke" was much nicer and more realistic back then and the cars are getting way too white for my taste.

but thanks again for your work, the mod makes me totally happy.

Yes you are correct @Goose...they have locked away the files so that no one can use them...trust me when I say that I WOULD LOVE TO! but until then, I will continue my work and have more tracks done soon :)

Looks like Bugbear remade their snow tracks and cars mod, hopefully after the tourney they add them permanently as a choice, but in the meantime, you rekon you can dump the files they're using for the tourney, as they probably already have every track to go, and it would make your job a whole lot easier if you could just port it. I'm not sure how the tourney works though, the files would probably be server side so that people can't rip this stuff :(

nothing is wrong with the mod...you need to select the snow tracks all the way to the right in track selection @THE GOLDEN BOY

I injected the mod into the game and got the main menu ok and the snow efect down but the track has not changed still reg track colors from the stock game.

these are great addition but also funny with modded and vanilla vehicles because there's no traction they keep on crashing into each other which is epic and i love it great job my friend.

@justinwilliamsps3...yes make sure you are using the tracks to the farthest point right that have the name of "snow" in them :) and I will look into adding my night time version to this as well as a selectable time of day/weather :)

@Goose...I know exactly that you are referring to but unfortunately the way that they made it in the past is not compatible with today's version of Wreckfest...they used a special shader and that is not able to be recreated now with the way the files are made

Also, these tracks are absolute phychological torture to drive on with a max upgraded Rocket RX with no assists, I love it!

@justinwilliamsps3 the snow tracks are separate, new tracks at the end of the level selection list, and not variants of the existing tracks. Did you select the right track?
