Map has been updated, lethal spikes and barricades removed and replaced with harmless versions (apart from far NE base, but i don't think the A.I will walk into those as they're out of the way).

Restart your game for Steam to update the campaign and you should be good to go. Have fun!

Huh, I remember the second mission being one of the easier maps. It's possible an update has made the A.I a bit more ... hilarious. I'll take a look and let you know when things are better.

Was the second mission, and i really wanna progress because it looks like a quality campaign but i tried it like 4 times and every time the majority of em just suicide run into spikes and just leave you alone, making it pretty difficult. Doesn't make it impossible but it aint great odds when it's like 1/20 or something

That said, if you tell me what mission you're on I could look at replacing the bases with ... "friendlier" versions.

I have tested and completed every map several times. Whilst it's true some units do walk into the wooden stakes and murder themselves, and also the barbed wire, you'll see such things phased out after mission 3 or 4. In any event the losses to stakes and wire should not prevent you from completing the missions.

Would be awesome if 75% of the landing force didn't kill themselves on wooden spikes every time..

best from Desert mammoth for months

it plays great, and on the level 7 the tanks work better than i think i've ever seen them do before
this campaign is the best i've ever played, and i'm sure i won't be forgetting it any time soon!
