there actually is a end to the fall, by noclipping out and going down you can see there is but you get telepeorted back up

LOL I went to Hole 512x512 and ( I have Half life 2 Episode 2) Spam Spawn a MEGA BUTTLOAD of gnomes and increased the size of 5 or 4 gnomes and just sat there and watch it ran gnomes endlessly. including the larger ones.

Lighting spoils the effect of endless falling and it would be difficult to illuminate the holes
