The code is quite old at this point, so can be just some kind of inherent flaw honestly. I would advice to grab a fully reimplemented 2.0 version from the github but it is reliant on a custom inventory GUI project that's in the middle of the rewrite (is not working and is not done).

Strangely, even without Altar, it randomly stops working again sometimes for the remainder of the run. Or it will place the wand in a fixed location in the cavern. I'm assuming there's an incompatibility elsewhere in my list

Interesting, it can be that Altar changes the way spells are cast globally – in particular, it might prevent NPCs from using them for one or another technical reason (your left hand is basically just a second player glued to one's body). This would explain it not working but would not explain it working before, strange.

I went through my list, disabling Altar of Adaptation solved it. I'm not sure what changed, I've run these together before.

It might be a mod incompatibility, depending on what spells the left wand has.

Currently I can equip the second mod, but trying to use it produces no effects. It still trigger that cooldown and etc.

@ImmortalDamned So, about an update I promised.
The new Twin-Linked requires a full inventory rewrite and said rewrite was ongoing for the entire and will be for some time in the future. Upon completion, this mod is the first thing getting converted to work with this one.

Oh, damn, I can post in over at the github theoretically. Was meant to update this one for a while actually but we are tied in a large scale project that is already way overdue.
If you'd like to improve it further, I can share the planned features and point to the solutions for them - this was deep in the backlog for half an eternity at this point, just can get any time to get around the implementation.

Hi, I find that the explosion caused by spells shot from your left arm will kill you, like pollen, energy orb and some other mod spells.
I've fixed this bug; how do I send the mod file to you?

Interesting, seems that vanilla doesn't care that much about npc entities when refreshing the spells, never considered that.
Twin-Linked update is indeed dued for like half a year now (it should add left hand wand editing on fly, maybe inventory system and also fix some critical bugs like the one you've just mentioned) but we've been postponing it, since this method of dual wield will be heavily utilized by us in one of the upcoming releases, so the stuff is gonna be rewritten anyways.

super cool mod, my only gripe with it is that it doesn't play well with limited ammo spells. I set up my gun mod to spawn a second gun when the mod is enabled but came across the issue of limited ammo spells not being refreshed alongside the main wand unless unequipped and not showing the remaining ammo unlike main wands, would that be possible to fix?

Yeah, since TL replaces the sprite (to make actual working hand you had to cut off the old useless one), it won't work with any reskins. There will be a separate version though at some point that utilizes the same system but is designed to go with modded characters and such.

RMB Spell mod is great indeed, but unfortunately neither of us can do anything to prevent buggy interactions, cause controls API in their curent state are very limited.

Kinda funny lookin with character skin mods, which now looks like i have a shoulder mounted wand. Otherwise pretty good mod to add on vanilla gameplay.

if i had to pick between the two, pretty much Twin Linked is functionally better, just that it does'nt work on Character skins.

i don't reccomend using them both. Janky controls be damned.

Everything should be in the mod description. Also, the wands for the left hand should be dropped from inventory, I forgot to put that part there.
