I absolutely love these mods.. got all the states you have made, yesterday and have played for hours. I only have a few suggestions.
#1: Change the Leader screens that have those clay looking leaders.. idk why, but those scare the crap out of me.
#2: Add more info into the historical information (Like Hayes)
#3: Change Ohio's colors to Scarlet and grey.
#4: I feel like the unique ability should be changed.. I dont find the current one very effective or helpful.
#5: Maybe change the leader.. Like President Grant is cool (Although he was corrupt). or make me the leader xD.. either way this point isn't that important.
Overall I love these mods and I hope you update them and continue to create them. Keep working and they will turn out soooo great, overall I'm impressed.

It looks a lot similiar to Austria's colors, so maybe that's why it's Blue and Gold. (But seriously, out of allthe color combinations, why Michishit's colors? Still love the mod and the modpack, though. Played 2 playthroughs with all the other states.)

My only major gripe with this mode is that you made our colors the color of the Michishit, We're Scarlet & Grey (Red & Grey) not Blue & Gold (Blue & Yellow)

And a cool suggestion you could update it, but you don't have to: there's a symbol that Ohio used on its license plates in the early 20th century and it looks awesome. I think it'd be great for the Civ.

Other than the gripe about the Rifleman, this civ is amazing. Please strongly consider moving it. Oh, and also, why'd you pick President Hayes as the leader? Mostly a curiosity question and not really to say he's a bad pick (in fact, I imagine it was a really tough choice).

[BnBScout - I tend to agree with you, and may update in the future. At the time I was trying to keep it balanced with Michigan since there were multiple requests for a repeat of the war over Toledo(?)

The UU should be a Rifleman replacement. Ohio was one of the top contributors of soldiers to the Civil War and wasn't even a state when Musketmen were a thing.

@ButtRazor - thanks! I usually choose by population, but sometimes off of which ones I've heard of. Can't really say at this point how I did that for Ohio.

As an Ohioan, I was just wondering what criteria (if any) you based city order off of? Additionally, for any Ohio State fans who can navigate the xml, Scarlet is (.733,0,0 ) and Gray is (.4,.4,.4) in RGB, and they actually look pretty good in game. Great mod!

New color scheeme updated! Along with new art work,

Blue-red is Korea, and blue and red are common in many civs

As a side note though.....I personally can't think of any Blue-Red Civilizations
(I'm thinking of America's blue as the primary and Englands red as the secondary)

I trust you to do what you can....can't expect much more than that.....

@Charles - this is one of the challenges. Blue-red is an extremely common color combination. When I get a chance I'll take a look and see what I can come up with.

I'd enjoy it if you could go back and update some...I have an idea for an icon scheme....you could base it I reckon on the States official flag and or coat of arms....if I could I would change the emblem to the flag of Ohio (because it is unique in the fact that it is the only nonrectangular flag in Union) with the white bits empty (showing the color beneath and giving the illusion of there being color) and although I like to stress I'm not trying to be rude or backseatmod..... I'd change the colors to Blue-Red....

@Charles - I've moved away from that practice; at some point I may go back and update but no promises

also I hate your practice of making the emblem of a state the icon of its most promient sports team....it really annoys again not meaning to be rude

being an Ohioan I saw this mod and got excited but I still really don't like the symbol or colors, I don't mean to be rude but it really annoys me.....I'd change it if I could....

add science. we created flight, and more astronouts were from ohio

hold up. Ohio? Mother of presidents? nope. william henry harrison was born here, not Ohio. He was living in Ohio when he was elected, but he was born in Virginia. Ohio only has 7 natural born presidents. Virginia is the true Mother of Presidents. Ohio is the mother of 7 and stepmother of 1.

It makes me nervous too :) I think when I had that problem I just moved them to the desktop until I was sure it was OK. I think the only one I did that wiith was the "UserHistoryDatabase", and possibly the "Localization-Merged" file.

Thx for telling me, but im nervous because it says that it has the gods and kings and BnW on it. Did it do anything bad when you dleted it?

That happened to me once (but not with this mod). I cleaned out the cache file (deleted all the .db files) C:\Users\[username]\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\cache

I subscribed to this mod, played it a bit, then switched to regular mode to play as byzantium, but instead of saying bizantium as the country name, it said ohio. I tried it out on other civs to, and they said Ohio to. It even does this to modded civs. How can I fix this or is this the first time you are hearing of this?
