need help! Neutral bots don't shoot, only the unarmed ones can box. how can I change that? thx for any help and thx for this mod

Unknown_Entity, that happens when you don't set a "Main Cockpit" and a bot is sitting on another cockpit (or any control station that can control the ship)

I know this because it happened to me and setting the "Main Cockpit" fixed the issue.

Unknown_Entity sounds like a interesting issue. The bots are not player's I don't think they should be taking power. For the he taking control issue please raise a bug report on the AiEnabled discord

Hi, Chipstix213, I have a small issue,
When ever I spawn in a bot or two and want to go on a drive or fly around, as actual crew, once they get into a seat, eg ground vehicle, the Vehicle move but with extremely limited Power, I cannot turn and accelerate, in a flyable ship i get a messaging either stating that someone else is using the ship or a seat with a higher priority is in use

IDK if I missed a fix for this or if I am just being an ID10T.

You can add additional models to the AiEnabled system

Can I reskin your bots as b1 and b2 battle droids for space engineers your mode is amazing and could fit in with so many of space engineers starwars builds!

Cen2050 I'd never insult someone for asking a question. However this is the wrong mod. This is just the dependency models.
If you go to AiEnabled mod there is a steam guide and we have a FAQ section on the discord. 👍

Ok, I've been subbed to this mod for a LONG time and I love it! However, for almost as long as I've had it I've been COMPLETELY unable to make custom bots spawn. I understand the mechanics of how to edit the other functions (spawn time, max numbers etc) but for the life of me I cannot make custom bots appear.

I don't know where in the Custom Data box to put the code, and I don't know how many lines it needs to be. I'm frustrated to the point of tears for my incompetence.

I get how to turn off the other mob types. I think I even get how to change/lock their suit color. literally all I need is a normal engineer in a purple suit with an assault rifle.

I don't care how badly I'm insulted, or made fun of...can someone just hold my hand, make the code and tell me where I'm supposed to put it.

This mod is a dependency and does nothing own its own.

Please go to AiEnabled for the correct mod.

Is there a way to turn off the highlights around the bots, i really don't want them in my game. Is there a file i can edit please?

Hey, thanks for this mod!

I wanted to suggest some different behaviour regrading components? when grinding, they are just going at it, and letting the parts fly where they may. Also, when the parts do get dropped, they're all single (a single plate, a single motor) and that goes through the floating objects limit pretty fast. Could they make a point of going to empty their inventory when in grinder mode?

Also, how does a 'tidy up' command on the radial wheel sound, to make them stop and pick up floating objects in the vincinity?

This isn't for planets. It just adds the robot factory. It's MES that spawns planet creatures

Hello,
I created a single player scenario. Everytime when I press the build button of the robot factory it says, that I have to choose a faction and I should try it again then. What is wrong? Ore is available so it shoudl be possible to create a bot... The factions I can choose are hostile factions, so when I choose a faction for the robot factory I do not have access any longer... can somebody help?

Hey there i came up whit a question for the Crew bots. i Used a Target Dummy as an Crew bot and the description tells me they will do stuff based on the block they got orderd too... i kinda get that if i send it to a weapon it will reload it but what exactly can it do and what not? its a bit strange for me since i dont know what exactly it does... if you set it to the commandoseat for example it gets the engineer role does that mean it repairs the chair if damaged?

That they're conflicting tip might be the ticket. I had no idea they were remotely related. Running alien nation solo is looking pretty good.

I've been in the crew enabled discord. I try to use the variety packs and alien nation together. I never considered using alien nation alone.

Sensational being are you on discord? This might be easier to explain there. The alien national mod was made by a friend using the variety models so I wonder if there is a conflict there. Do you get the issue if only using the alien nation mod?

I've been raising an issue over on the crew enabled discord that looks to be resolved as long as I'm using approved bots like male and female variety packs. However, I like the alien nation pack and the problem persists if I use it. They spawn standing up instead of sitting down.

Can you explain what might be the difference between these models and maybe clarify what you meant by 'male and female variety are not set to be bots' yet they work splendidly with crew enabled where other models do not always necessarily work so well?

Yes my male and female variety are not set to be bots so will drop backpacks and have short despawn time on the ragdolls

I should say yours here in bot spawner just don't. Not sure I'm remembering right, but I thought I've seen female and male variety drop packs.

If you mean models dropping back packs, the Cylon model will drop packs, I think male and female variety will drop packs. Many characters I run through crew enabled do it.

Yours just don't. And sometimes I don't know want the rag dolls to despawn right away.

Oh it's a one line change in the character SBC. Remove the InventorySpawnComponent from the EnabledComponents section

That's why I coming to you. Yours do that, but not everybody's. So what kind of hurdles am I looking at to make other bots be the container instead of dropping back packs?

the loot container is the bot they do not drop backpacks. they should stay for 5 minuets to allow you to grab the contents

How complicated is it to make a bot be the back pack instead of dropping one? I've noticed that bots that drop back packs despawn much faster than the other variety, and there doesn't appear to be a way to make them stay that I can find unless they are the back pack.
