Loads more detail, you can effectively "mix grids" and use subgrids without risking the Wrath of Clang. As a pure ship builder, this game is amazing. I'd recommend giving it a go if you can find the time.

Just judging by your screenshots you are able to add much more detail into ships than in SE... especially in regard to the interior

@DMJaxun - Use Tab to free look. Look away and then hold the use key to leave the seat.

Screen positioning makes it impossible to leave it whilst using yoke
