I have located mods that cause the skills sheet to not let you view your current xp. (constant errors/tick) discussion created.

I see the XP like 80 / 1500 on B42.
This mod and Skill Recovery Journal are enabled.

FYI it breaks the ability to look up the current XP progress per skill (Skill Tab on your character and then hover over a skill to see like 80 / 1500 XP - which will not be displayed)

Sadly this mod conflicts with Skill Recovery Journal, was getting errors spammed whenever I hovered over a skill bar

@OnetimeYapper57, x1 is minimum multiplier. The hint says that you should read more to reach it and then you can read further to increase the multiplier.

No, your XP gain is actually 0.3. You will gain 66% less XP. (I think.)

If you partially read book game tell you in tooltip misleading data, for example: "Multiplier: 0.3" While game really don't use multiplier less than 1.0 for book reading
Is it possible to change this tooltip text too? to make it like "Multiplier: 1.0 (0.3)"?

Ultimate XP Tweaker mod crashes when this mod is installed. The game 41.73? crashes when opening the skills menu ingame.

@star It's been proven that pacifist also affect maintenance XP gain, could you update the mod so that maintenance is also part of the pacifist formula?

Added "Aiming" to pacifist part of the formula.
Before that, only melee weapons were taken into account.

I appreciate the mod a ton to make things a lot clearer. XP is weird and needs a serious overhaul.

For those that don't know, the initial xp mult from starting skills is additive in a rather strange way. The base XP rate is 25%, meaning 0.25 base. 1.00 for +1 starting skill (0.25+0.75), 1.25 for +2 (0.25+1.0), etc. But Fast Learner is multiplicative, as are skill books. Meaning having +1 with fast learner is 1.00 * 1.3 with * 3 for reading a beginner's skill book.
Starting with 0 means 0.25 * 1.3 * 3 in that skill. A huge difference.

It seems that fast/slow learner affect the multiplier shown, which is great. However, the xp penalty from taking pacifist doesn't seem to affect anything, is this intended?

+75% means x4, so base exp is +0.5 xp.
Let's count how much +125% gives:
3,32 / 0,5 = 6,64 (see screenshot above).

Its more complicated, but its not always *4, there is some spaghetti code involved but yeah overall its not *1,75 but more like *3 or *4
Fast test: dismantling watch is 0,65 xp
with +75% its 2 xp,
and same for +125% its 3,32 xp
