Regular units have 600 HP (1680 for cav). Doesn't your skill nerf make it impossible to kill even one soldier? Poison dot damage deals 300 damage total which would only take a half of a regular unit's HP over 30 seconds. I think they are overtuned from just looking at the values.

Could you roll back Guan Yu's god of war damage? same as the spamming skills as of now. I think the damage should be half of the original value which is 25k. (Current value is 2.5k)

Does this mod remove the generals’ ability to use that jumping charge attack that wipe out multiple troops? I’ve been trying to remove this all day, seems impossible without it affecting basic cavalry too.

@Vlad This one makes changes to vanilla and DLC generals, MTU version affects MTU added generals, so yeah, if you dont want an unbalanced game for sure :9

New patch most likely wont need an update on my end, i dont think they'll mess with the tables this mod changes, but i'll drop a new patch when the next MTU update releases (Should be soon according to their discord)

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing that since he is the strongest duelist historically and probably the second strongest in ROTK novel. However as it stands God of War is far worse than the clone's ability.

Yeah, im still tweaking skills here and there, but with the recent buffs to Guan Yu he might be a bit too strong dueling

Curiously, one thing I noticed though is God of War nerf to 1100, same as blind fury. Shouldn't it retain higher damage since you can only use it once not to mention that it is a unique skill?

I've always been a proponent of weaker heroes in Romance mod of 3k. Even in the eyes of a long time ROTK fan 3k heroes seemed way overtuned and felt like dynasty warriors than an actual representation of ROTK. This mod seems way more elegant than the existing hero nerf mod that seemly halved all hero HPs and weapon damages. I really love your skill nerfs bringing to somewhat realistic (keeping the gamey fun) level. Looks like I will try another mod outside of TROM(an overhaul which also heavily nerfs heroes) for the first time. Thanks for the good work!

I will try this. Having too strong heroes is one of the major flaws of Total War: Three Kingdoms.

i like the idea, but i think the reduction is a bit too much on some skills. in general i think the only skill that is super immersion breaking is the aoe and arrow skills, which i totally agree with the change. the other skills are really okay. if we weaken the legendary skills too much then the legendary heros are not that valuable compare to the normal ones.

very cool mod. But sun ren's ability to "find the heart" is weak. This skill does less damage than a similar skill of liu chong.

Works either way as far as i tested with MTU, author recommends to load any submods before the MTU mod, so that would mean that :

-Hero Rebalance MTU
-MTU/TUP
-Hero Rebalance

If it has MTU included, you should use both this and the MTU addon and you should load it first, word of caution as MTU hasnt been updated for the new DLC yet so you might experince odd stuff.

Mod doesnt make the game crash on extreme unit size, it works just fine, thing is, the mod was tunned and tested on high/ultra unit size, so im not 100% sure if the heroes will work as intended on extreme sizes @Vlad

Also, the user didnt mention anything about his game crashing due to this mod, its just that the mod description and images didnt match with the values of extreme unit sizes. Thought the mod wasnt working and decided to re-install the game for some reason.

Any chance for there to be a release of an extreme unit version? I looked at posts below, user mentioned crashing. I like this mod and extreme units, but don't want to combine them and crash.

I'm new to the game so I don't know if the balance issues with extreme is something I would tolerate or not.

Yes, extreme unit size hp is up to the 100k health, this mods tunes that down to a half, same for weapons and skills etc.

Think i figured out why, its because the unit size slider on the options menu, scales the values the mod touches to compensate for the unit quantity increase, dont think i can do anything on that end, you should get the expected changes on large/ultra unit sizes. Still, the changes still work, they have reduced health and damage overall, its just that extreme unit size multiplies the values absurdly. Just checked, working just fine on my end, can you take a screenshot or something? Are you 100% sure there's no other mods in the data folder/steam workshop folder that modify the tables mentioned in the description?

some unique weapon are not balanced (giantbane, eater of courage) still the previous damage, even when I only use this mod with the mtu addon
