For those want most like experience I got alternative for while now including sub mods in 1 package and recently updated to work with 3.8.2.

there also alternative by others but they work different then this.

indeed VR slaves do nothing at moment. maybe add +4 empire size limit thingy that default 100 at moment somehow I could not find anything. or need something totaly different.

This mod need update. empire sprawl is changed. so VR slaves dunno if works yet but I Imagine it needs a change, maybe reduce empire size by x per slave? just a idea?
