I had very mixed feelings about this. It had some cleverness to it but the layout, connections, lighting were unappealing. I'd call the difficulty easy/medium.

Sub'd will play soon! :p2chell:

Yes I was wondering why that was. Thanks for pointing it out. I'll see if your solution applies here depending on how things looks when the panel is opened.
ShaggieIII 9 Feb, 2021 @ 5:21pm
You must have noticed the annoyingly dark flip and angle panels in the latest version of Bee. To properly light the flip panels start them as white and add a NOT gate between it and the input. For angled panels add a light that shines on the Back side of the closed panel. It will actually light the front. Haven't finished this one yet but it looks like cup of tea. Cheers.

Thanks oxxi! Glad you made it!

I learned that in Bee2, you can only place antlines on inclined surfaces if they're the small 30-degree blocks or 45-degree half-full blocks. You cannot place antlines on the big 30-degree blocks.

Also, the antlines need to follow the block's slope. Yup, I learned that the hard way lol
Oxxi_ 9 Feb, 2021 @ 6:58am
Nice work ! That was hard
I had no difficulties at the beginning, then I was stuck because I was confused by the laser receptor near the exit door, i didn't noticed the floor at the exit door was at the same height (I believed that we had to hold the cube in the air and that the laser would activate something permanent or idk), I had to watch the walkthrough and I stopped at 4:36
For the end, I passed a lot of time and I tested many things but I finally found the correct solution by myself

Overall, the test chamber is nice and I like the logic
Just one question : How did you manage to put the antlines on inclined surfaces? I noticed you are using elements of BEE2 mod, I use that too, but I don't know how to place the antlines on inclined surfaces, maybe you also used hammer ?
PeterLucas  [author] 8 Feb, 2021 @ 10:33pm
Oh! You were almost set for the final move!
Andy T 8 Feb, 2021 @ 10:24pm
I got as far as turning the Square fizzler off, my head is jelly now, recall I cheesed on the original.
PeterLucas  [author] 8 Feb, 2021 @ 5:55pm
Andy! I updated the map a couple of hours ago, I don't know if you had the chance to play with that version. The problem you're encountering should be fixed. You just need to align your portal shot with the surface.
Andy T 8 Feb, 2021 @ 5:36pm
That slit of portalable surface is still a problem, but I am still figuring out few things, that dot receiver was well placed.
PeterLucas  [author] 8 Feb, 2021 @ 5:10pm
Thank you for the elogious comment! I'm glad you liked it (and didn't break it! lol)

blind playthrough https://youtu.be/e8CHTXTNRh0 A most enjoyable puzzle, one of you best! I only wish I have not played this before because most of it is already spoiled.
PeterLucas  [author] 8 Feb, 2021 @ 10:22am
Thanks for your feedback Meine_12! Those are good suggestions! I hope you enjoyed the map, I'm surprised you managed to crack it this quickly!
Jan.B 8 Feb, 2021 @ 10:16am
Replayed the map, two suggestions:
-Maybe it's because I played the map with different geometry first, but I did not notice the flat surface at the exit door at all, maybe add some lightstrips so you can recognise the flat surface from afar.
-The portal surface opposite the exit door could use a portal magnet to make the funnel placement consistant, I had to get the regular cube back multiple times because the funnel was in the wrong spot. Maybe you could toggle that magnet with the monitor room button so it doesen't mess with the laser placement.

MAJOR UPDATE NOTICE

Bullfrog and I have been working on updating this level for quite some time now. We've come up with pretty interesting solutions that make offer a completely new experience for this level.

Beware! The walkthrough is now 9 minutes long, compared to the previous 3 minutes. Needless to say, the dungeon is now much harder and much longer! Anyone who had played it ought to try this new version!

Good luck and let us know what you think!
Jan.B 31 Jan, 2021 @ 6:12am
What is the current way of getting the glass cube to the middle room, the method in the walkthrough doesen't work anymore. Also maybe add a portal magnet for the funnel.
The testchamber is great, I really like the geometry.
PeterLucas  [author] 5 Jan, 2021 @ 7:03am
Thanks quatrus!
PeterLucas  [author] 5 Jan, 2021 @ 7:02am
Hey Andy! I noticed this surface is hard to portal on too. I've put it there to prevent an exploit, but if you try it several times it should work. Meanwhile, I'll try to rhink of something that prevents the exploit + makes it easy to portal on that surface.

Also, Bullfrog and I are again working on improving this level again, so stay tuned!
Andy T 5 Jan, 2021 @ 2:46am
oh I also cannot portal the funnel, I don't know but full-size block would help, this happened to Sector 5's map too.
Andy T 5 Jan, 2021 @ 2:42am
Uh hate to do this to you again, but big cheese here I only get to play it today since it errored out like last time, Portal 2 errors out the downloads alot these days.
quatrus 3 Jan, 2021 @ 10:36am
Took a bit of thought and realizing that one switch is on/off. Well done again. Thanks for creating.

PeterLucas  [author] 2 Jan, 2021 @ 2:38pm
Good news everyone! I've updated the puzzle with Bullfrog's help. It should be a tad more difficult now, so it's worth trying again!

Plus, we got rid of tons of unintended solutions (all of them stemming from jgaultney's playthrough).

Thanks for sticking with me!
EndOfPortal 1 Jan, 2021 @ 4:24pm
Quite easy but fun map. Original design too.
PeterLucas  [author] 1 Jan, 2021 @ 12:06pm
Puzzle fixed! IT SHOULD ALL BE FINE NOW lol
PeterLucas  [author] 1 Jan, 2021 @ 10:51am
The map is broken at the moment, being fixed...
PeterLucas  [author] 1 Jan, 2021 @ 9:53am
Damn lol

Issue fixed!

I encourage you to try the puzzle again if you haven't seen the walkthrough!
jgaultney 1 Jan, 2021 @ 9:38am
Sorry, another oops, maybe.
I used the rc to switch lasers, before spawning the reg. cube.

Issue fixed. Good job BFrog! Not even sheepdog would have found it ;-)
bullfrog 1 Jan, 2021 @ 3:07am
Good update, but one more fix to do when you wake up ;)
PeterLucas  [author] 1 Jan, 2021 @ 12:46am
Puzzle updated again! Fixed another unintended solution similar to the one made by sheepdog (but much more difficult) and changed the main room to add more time for the final move!
bullfrog 31 Dec, 2020 @ 11:28pm
I agree with sheepdog; shoot the playtester - they found all sorts of things, but missed the blatantly obvious!
PeterLucas  [author] 31 Dec, 2020 @ 10:34pm
He has been very helpful. If I published levels without him, they would all be terrible lol
ShaggieIII 31 Dec, 2020 @ 8:13pm
Nice one. Interesting solve and looks good to boot. Bullfrog is usually a top notch unintended solution finder. He has found far too many in my tests I know. Great work.
PeterLucas  [author] 31 Dec, 2020 @ 5:25pm
Oh my god lol how could we leave it like that

I just updated it. Should work fine now

Sorry you keep getting unintended solutions! I think I'll hold on posting walkthroughs until I'm sure there a re no unintended solutions, so as to give players a chance to get the realexperience.

There's always something!

blind playthrough https://youtu.be/6p8Pqn38yhs Fire Bullfrog, I did not use the funnel. Jk of course
