I learned that in Bee2, you can only place antlines on inclined surfaces if they're the small 30-degree blocks or 45-degree half-full blocks. You cannot place antlines on the big 30-degree blocks.
Also, the antlines need to follow the block's slope. Yup, I learned that the hard way lol
I had no difficulties at the beginning, then I was stuck because I was confused by the laser receptor near the exit door, i didn't noticed the floor at the exit door was at the same height (I believed that we had to hold the cube in the air and that the laser would activate something permanent or idk), I had to watch the walkthrough and I stopped at 4:36
For the end, I passed a lot of time and I tested many things but I finally found the correct solution by myself
Overall, the test chamber is nice and I like the logic
Just one question : How did you manage to put the antlines on inclined surfaces? I noticed you are using elements of BEE2 mod, I use that too, but I don't know how to place the antlines on inclined surfaces, maybe you also used hammer ?
-Maybe it's because I played the map with different geometry first, but I did not notice the flat surface at the exit door at all, maybe add some lightstrips so you can recognise the flat surface from afar.
-The portal surface opposite the exit door could use a portal magnet to make the funnel placement consistant, I had to get the regular cube back multiple times because the funnel was in the wrong spot. Maybe you could toggle that magnet with the monitor room button so it doesen't mess with the laser placement.
Bullfrog and I have been working on updating this level for quite some time now. We've come up with pretty interesting solutions that make offer a completely new experience for this level.
Beware! The walkthrough is now 9 minutes long, compared to the previous 3 minutes. Needless to say, the dungeon is now much harder and much longer! Anyone who had played it ought to try this new version!
Good luck and let us know what you think!
The testchamber is great, I really like the geometry.
Also, Bullfrog and I are again working on improving this level again, so stay tuned!
Plus, we got rid of tons of unintended solutions (all of them stemming from jgaultney's playthrough).
Thanks for sticking with me!
Issue fixed!
I encourage you to try the puzzle again if you haven't seen the walkthrough!
I used the rc to switch lasers, before spawning the reg. cube.

I just updated it. Should work fine now
Sorry you keep getting unintended solutions! I think I'll hold on posting walkthroughs until I'm sure there a re no unintended solutions, so as to give players a chance to get the realexperience.
There's always something!
