Everyone, chill. To make the blood pools smaller try using bloodpool_min_size [insert any number you'd like] and then bloodpool_max_size [insert any number you'd like]

I found out why, I remember I joined DarkRP and it just so happened to add fog and some other glitches, also deleted bullet wounds, dng it.

I have removed every single bullet wound decal on my gmod and install this one, and it still doesnt really work, everytime i shoot the wound is invisible, also i aint very techy so i havent looked at the files too much. I have 2 blood spray mods, they do not have any decals in em, so what is the problem, sorry if youdeal with dumbies like me a lot.

OK, so it turns out blood2 isn't cursed after all. I found that it was not working due to an addon conflict like you suggested the first time. I don't know which one is the culprit, but it doesn't matter. It's finally working properly again!

One last thing I would like to point out is that the decals still flicker when generated on models, as in props and ragdolls. Also, I fixed the blood decals' color myself, and it wasn't particularly hard to do; I exported each decal as a png via VTFEdit, turned the color to 100 in the Adjustments tab of Windows 10 Photos, and imported the edited image as a vtf, also via VTFEdit.

As in, I have already done what you suggested yesterday, and still no results.

I'm still having the problem even though the code in blood2.vmt uses the exact same format as the other vmt files like you mentioned. blood2 is fucking cursed, man.

I suggest you visit the Steam Workshop Downloader io website. Simply paste the link to this addon page and you can download the addon's files, then put only the flesh decal files in your "decals" folder.

This is sick, but I dislike the blood pools and the blood itself. i only like the blood on the wound, how do you remove the blood and blood pools?

To elaborate, "blood2" is bugged. With the help of the Steam Workshop Downloader site, I downloaded and iput only the GTA blood splash/spray vtf, vmt, and subrect files in my game. "blood2" is no longer replaced with a vanilla decal, but it appears overly large and pixelated compared to the other five GTA blood splash/spray decals.

I think I see the problem I mentioned below. After checking the addon files, I found that the "blood2" decal in the "decals" folder is the only one that fails to appear in the game for some reason. Can you look into it to see if there's anything wrong?

I disabled the blood particle replacement. It didn't make any difference, and I have no other blood decal replacement installed

but ill also look in to it

i dont think its a bug with my mod, more likely its the blood particle that you have installed
try turning it off and see if it made any difference (the cause also might be other particle/texture mods you have installed)

However, I notice that the default HL2 blood decals still occassionally appear alongside the GTA V ones as seen here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2438888502 . Is there any way you can fix this?

I like how well this pairs with MysterAC's blood particle replacement.
