I quite like the new additions, she's fun to play and the materia feel unique enough to change your playstyle for each. However, the sound effect on down-smash is quite quiet, it doesn't feel powerful and took me a few tries to notice there was a sound effect. Is that possible to fix easily?

Tifa has been fully updated! Along with the additions to the description here's a few more points.
Nair and dash attack are now jump canclable and up air now floats you up some for more combos.

I love Tifa in general, and i love this character, only thing id say is just to make her a little bit smaller, since she is bigger than the OG rivals characters, but otherwise i love it

A well designed character. I like everything about this character. My only suggestion maybe is to slightly reduce her size?She is very big , hence has a huge hit box. IMO, that is not fair. To the author. Thank again for this character.

@DLshadows yeah! I would be happy to try my hand in a Tifa character select! I'm still finishing up ff7 (right before the Ultimate Weapon battle) but I like it enough that I would be glad to put some time into it! Unfortunately I'm a little busy right now, but I can certainly try over the weekend. I'll just try to dm you on steam or discord (I saw this posted in finish-line) after I get done with it. Until then, still a pretty great mod! Thanks for trying it out!

The sprites are pretty big, and the character select doesn't match up as well as the ingame sprites do. Gameplay wise I like her rushdown style (fox main over here), but with her bigger hitboxes it seems unfair to an opponent trying to escape. Overall I do like the character, I just hope you get some time to create custom sprites for her, and a new character select. I know spritework is hard, but encouragement goes a long way. If you want, I can try to create a new character select for her with updated colors, given some time, if you'd like.

@DLshadows Nice work on the update! She plays and looks much better. I loved the new Dolphin Blow animation.

Really hoping this character gets more noticed by the community.

@Ironbound She has been updated. I wasn't able to do the materia on neutral special do to the way the code and projectiles work, but most others i was. The only exception was with fair, having it be a multi hit didn't flow well so i keep it as is. Once again thanks for the feedback!

Ah, I see. At least she's not too big to be a problem, and the edits are great. I know spritework can be a pain... I'll patiently wait for the update! Oh, and I will check out Renamon soon and Gon&Killua when they release.

First i have to say no need to apologize, having dedicated posts to point out issues and things that could be improved is what i love to see so thank you! I'll be taking all of these and implimenting them so there should be an update in a day or two. And on the sprites, they were mostly ripped from a game but heavily edited by me to fit the rivals style and sadly cause of that i can't make her smaller without making the sprites look horrible..

Other
- Neutral Special and Dash Attack are missing a sound effect.
- Dash attack could be cancelled into a jump if it hits to continue a midair combo.

Animations/Sprites
- First of all, I like the sprites. Were they custom made?
- The character should be made a little smaller. She towers above the RoA roster. Unless intended?
- Some sprites are recycled in a few attacks, like U-Air and U-Strong, and some don't feel like they barely move like U-Special (especially midair) and Neutral Special. I'd add some frames that portray movement. In Side-Special's case, add 1 or 2 more sprites between the second and third sprites. Feels like she skips a few frames when doing the backflip.

Aerials

- U-Air's second hitbox could be placed a little more behind Tifa so it can cover her leg.
- F-Air would be better if it was a combo (Like Bayonetta's in Smash), but it leads well into a few of her other attacks as is.
- Neutral Air could have less landing endlag so it can serve to start a ground combo right after hitting.
- D-Air I feel needs less endlag. Takes quite a while to do anything after using it.

Special Attacks

- U-Special has a disjointed hurtbox before the attack is launched. Also, the hitbox should be placed a bit higher or made taller to reach a bit above her fist. Loved that hitting with it doesn't place you in a freefall state.
- Side Special can receive a few invincibility frames at the start of the move. I like that it can be cancelled with a jump before the attack launches.
- Neutral Special would be cool if it could receive the current Materia's effect. Could also have a bit more delay between the hitbox frames to serve as a pretty good trap/combo starter.
- D-Special (Air) can have less hitbox frames when landing on the floor. I feel they last too long.

[h1] Strong Attacks [/h1]
- Sometimes F-Strong's hitboxes don't connect like they should, causing the other hits to miss. Also, they should be placed a little more forward, extending a bit from the foot.
- D-Strong's hitbox is too small compared to the big explosion visual effect it creates. I'd make it either wider or taller.
- U-Strong should be made into various hitboxes like D-Air instead of a big, constant frame all around her. Also, I'd make a small sweetspot at the start of the attack just like U-Special.

Greetings. I saw the character and immediately downloaded to test her out!

- I liked the idea of having her as a rushdown character. Fits her fast and strong fighting style.
- The Materia system is pretty good. The effects are as expected (Fire burns, etc.) and work well when used. Thunder is my favorite, as it makes comboes easier to perform, followed by Aero's higher knockback. I would make some of them raise damage given a little.
