Nair and dash attack are now jump canclable and up air now floats you up some for more combos.
Really hoping this character gets more noticed by the community.
- Neutral Special and Dash Attack are missing a sound effect.
- Dash attack could be cancelled into a jump if it hits to continue a midair combo.
Sorry for the long and overwhelming post. Love the character and I'm thankful that someone added her into the game. Good execution. Hope to see more from you!
- First of all, I like the sprites. Were they custom made?
- The character should be made a little smaller. She towers above the RoA roster. Unless intended?
- Some sprites are recycled in a few attacks, like U-Air and U-Strong, and some don't feel like they barely move like U-Special (especially midair) and Neutral Special. I'd add some frames that portray movement. In Side-Special's case, add 1 or 2 more sprites between the second and third sprites. Feels like she skips a few frames when doing the backflip.
- U-Air's second hitbox could be placed a little more behind Tifa so it can cover her leg.
- F-Air would be better if it was a combo (Like Bayonetta's in Smash), but it leads well into a few of her other attacks as is.
- Neutral Air could have less landing endlag so it can serve to start a ground combo right after hitting.
- D-Air I feel needs less endlag. Takes quite a while to do anything after using it.
- U-Special has a disjointed hurtbox before the attack is launched. Also, the hitbox should be placed a bit higher or made taller to reach a bit above her fist. Loved that hitting with it doesn't place you in a freefall state.
- Side Special can receive a few invincibility frames at the start of the move. I like that it can be cancelled with a jump before the attack launches.
- Neutral Special would be cool if it could receive the current Materia's effect. Could also have a bit more delay between the hitbox frames to serve as a pretty good trap/combo starter.
- D-Special (Air) can have less hitbox frames when landing on the floor. I feel they last too long.
- Sometimes F-Strong's hitboxes don't connect like they should, causing the other hits to miss. Also, they should be placed a little more forward, extending a bit from the foot.
- D-Strong's hitbox is too small compared to the big explosion visual effect it creates. I'd make it either wider or taller.
- U-Strong should be made into various hitboxes like D-Air instead of a big, constant frame all around her. Also, I'd make a small sweetspot at the start of the attack just like U-Special.
- I liked the idea of having her as a rushdown character. Fits her fast and strong fighting style.
- The Materia system is pretty good. The effects are as expected (Fire burns, etc.) and work well when used. Thunder is my favorite, as it makes comboes easier to perform, followed by Aero's higher knockback. I would make some of them raise damage given a little.
