hi mate, I am a great fan of the mod! I love to play using Imperial Elective succession.

I was wondering what is the ID of the decision when you turn on debug_mode. I used to see this option a lot, but cannot for some reason recently. thank you !

that would be caused by something else, this mod doesn't modify the vanilla Imperial Government type but creates a new mostly identical version of it. In any case you should use the latest version of this mod available as part of my "Feudal Governments Expanded" mod.

I have an issue where when I become the roman empire it does not give me the option to go imperial, it reverts to feudal
G.Byzzie 30 Jul, 2023 @ 1:37am
is this compatible with a mid game save? was hoping to see if I can get to witness any other empire turn into an imperial government other than just the ERE (which I am playing as)

you're gonna have to be more specific than that.

I can't use the mod since the last update. What happened?

I still enjoy ck2 more than ck3 to this day simply because of its mod-ability. But not all modders are keeping their mods up to date like you are and I really appreciate when one of them does. Thank you.
Francis 20 Oct, 2022 @ 3:02pm
Do you have a link we can send a donation to by chance?
Chaotic Rushu 5 Oct, 2022 @ 2:30pm
Better late than never! Thanks so much!
Fine  [author] 4 Oct, 2022 @ 5:13pm
finally got around to fixing it. sorry for taking so long.
plainswalker88 10 Jul, 2022 @ 11:39pm
Hello! I have a similar problem with the one Darth Kade has. I wanted to have Venice (the city) as capital. Problem is, when the ruler dies it automatically becomes a MR and ends the game even if I have the republic dlc. The work around I found is to give my heir a county (feudal) and so you can continue. This is quite annoying, can you please help me out? Thank you!
Chaotic Rushu 19 Mar, 2022 @ 2:38pm
Whenever they have a city when they die tbh. Depends on how aggressive they are on revoking.
I got it fixed now
Fine  [author] 18 Mar, 2022 @ 5:48pm
I wasn't aware this was an issue, I've never encountered it in any of my runs but maybe I just didn't play long enough. does it happen all the time or just some of the time?

you'll have to remove similar code from the government file as well and you might have to adjust some AND or OR statements in both too.
Chaotic Rushu 18 Mar, 2022 @ 8:04am
If i remove the
AND = {
any_demesne_title = {
is_vice_royalty = yes
}
any_liege = {
government = roman_imperialtwo_government
}
}
section from the potential part of the decision, would that prevent Vassals from taking the imperial government. I've noticed that the AI will try to grab a city or two, and when they die, their heir will get all their counties and cities, and become a republic. This is very annoying, since I now can't give them any higher titles without making them a MR.
Mukaparska 24 Feb, 2022 @ 8:10am
Yup, it works. Empire of Tibet got imperial administration.
Fine  [author] 4 Feb, 2022 @ 8:48pm
they can in theory, yes
Mukaparska 4 Feb, 2022 @ 4:15am
Does the AI take advantage of this as well?
kendy_lovely 1 Sep, 2021 @ 9:01pm
its an achievement run so i cant ... 😔
Fine  [author] 19 Aug, 2021 @ 5:25pm
well now you can with this mod :D
kendy_lovely 19 Aug, 2021 @ 8:20am
why isnt this how it works normally lmao . i literally got scammed i thought i was going to get byzantine-style imperial administration but instead i just got all the downsides without the upsides . i wanted to hold cities god damnit
PussyKing 28 May, 2021 @ 4:20pm
now it works for me, thanx
Fine  [author] 28 May, 2021 @ 4:08pm
try downloading from the link in the description and let me know if it still occurs
PussyKing 28 May, 2021 @ 4:02pm
have same issue with empty circle
Fine  [author] 19 May, 2021 @ 2:20pm
what graphical setting do you play on Vie?
kripkenstein 7 May, 2021 @ 2:36am
I think the mod works but I don't have the imperial symbol on my character's profile, only an empty circle
Fine  [author] 27 Feb, 2021 @ 9:29am
that could be because you're over the mod limit

I have tried downloading it myself from a workshop direct download website and everything appears to be in order.
Angel 27 Feb, 2021 @ 9:27am
I still had to download it manually
Fine  [author] 28 Jan, 2021 @ 8:13pm
GREAT NEWS EVERYONE, WORKSHOP DOWNLOAD SHOULD BE FIXED. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THERE'S STILL ISSUES.
Fine  [author] 17 Jan, 2021 @ 8:18am
works for me, I don't know what to tell you
TheDGZgames 17 Jan, 2021 @ 5:09am
The Link didn't work, even if I copy and paste it on any website search bar and replace "(DOT) with an actual dot.
Karl just Karl 14 Jan, 2021 @ 12:58am
Good Job!
riftxonier 10 Jan, 2021 @ 11:40am
Steam has apparently blocked the alternate download link, so if you guys want to get it: just copy and paste it on any website search bar (don't forget the replace "(DOT)" with an actual dot).
Fine  [author] 9 Jan, 2021 @ 10:22pm
okay I've added an alternate download link to the description
Karl just Karl 9 Jan, 2021 @ 9:55pm
Your mod is damaged. Neither steam, nor any other sites for download don't work
Fine  [author] 9 Jan, 2021 @ 5:50pm
there's like five different direct workshop download websites you can go to through just a single google search. try one of those.
Axis1211 9 Jan, 2021 @ 5:48pm
can't seem to download it. so I cleared up a ton of space thinking it was on my end but when looking at the mod size it should have been more then enough space for the mod to download. Could you perhaps provide a manual link to install?
Fine  [author] 9 Jan, 2021 @ 7:56am
do you have any other mods that modify governments? (for example, mods that make non-playable government types playable) If so, one of those is probably overwriting the changes that this mod makes to the Imperial government type.
Karl just Karl 9 Jan, 2021 @ 2:49am
Adopted the "Imperial Administration", there was a decision from the mod, but then nothing happens. Couldn't get the imperial administration
Fine  [author] 8 Jan, 2021 @ 7:28am
sPECIAL kEEk, I have no idea what you're talking about. Veitnaminourhearts, you're going to have to be more specific if you want me to actually help.
Karl just Karl 8 Jan, 2021 @ 4:56am
not work
sPEICAL kEEk 7 Jan, 2021 @ 6:04pm
both non o
Chitose 3 Jan, 2021 @ 9:26pm
Wrong scope, "set_government_type" works on character scope so you need holder_scope first, but I agree that compatibility matters so you have a good reason to not do so.
Fine  [author] 3 Jan, 2021 @ 9:21pm
well I don't know then, it's not instantaneous for me when I tested it out with "set_government_type" directly in the effects of the law, and that's why the decision's there. as such, I chose to not bother editing the law at all because it's one less potential compatibility issue to worry about.
Chitose 3 Jan, 2021 @ 9:10pm
I suggest that simply because you add a extra decision for the same purpose, while this can be done in law itself. And I don't know how you scripting but the changing is instantaneous.(I've already tested it out, too).
Fine  [author] 3 Jan, 2021 @ 8:41pm
doing that would be entirely redundant since the government change is triggered by the roman_imperial_government potential block, and anyway changing it directly through the law would not be instantaneous either (I've already tested it out).
Chitose 3 Jan, 2021 @ 6:54pm
Government type can be applied right on the law enacted in pass_effect block via calling an event, if this helps an immersive gameplay.
